Yep can't deny that
Also any idea what gearbox oil im meant to use on a lsd 6 speed?
I've read its meant to be 75w-90? but the oils listed were all for lsd diffs?
And i've been told that lsd oils can stuff up my syncros so i should avoid them......so im a bit confused

Thanks

welcome mate,

great buy, i talk to yoey quite abit, and he really has taken care of it.

i've used both Royal Purple 75w - 90 and Redline MT90, personally I find Redline MT90 better.

Yep hes definitely taken pretty good care of it

Thanks, I looked them up and the royal purple says its an LSD oil whereas the redline doesn't mention anything about it being safe for an LSD diff?

But yeah thanks for the welcome, gave it a wash and vac today and shes looking sweet

and be really careful not to strip the sump bolt, mines a little worse for wear.

Thanks, i'll have a look through it before i attempt it
I've got the right sized tools at work and they're decent brands too so hopefully it should be a simple oil change

If im not mistaken then it'll probably be a 22mm since its what the local corollas have
But yeah thanks for the help, i'll be extra careful when cracking it

Thanks, but yeah from my past experiences i've learnt that car specific forums are pretty helpful generally
Oh also yoey while you're here, any idea if disconnecting the battery will affect the piggyback at all?
Coz I got a brand new one at work for free so i might replace it cept im worried about the piggyback losing all its memory

Thanks david

You'll be safe, just disconnect battery the right way. The memory is flash based so won't be loss from simple loss of power. Shorting the unit on the other hand...
