Hi guys Recently Changed the oil on my BZV and I noticed that there was some light blue fluid leaking from the LHS driveshaft seal. Found out from previous owner that he changed the gearbox/LSD fluid to lightweight redline shockproof. It appeared to initially look like a messy job, but after I cleaned it all up it still pools up ever so slightly and near the drain hole it was wet. Pools up down there as its leaking from the seal. Attached a parts diagram of the seal thats leaking, I guess my main question, is this a expensive fix ? first time this has happened to me so not sure of the costs. ![]() Edited by Tonkatsu, Dec 2 2012, 07:55 PM.

I had a similar issue but it didn't start leaking until my driveshaft popped out. I'm guessing urs could be loose or the seal needs replacing? I hope that helps. |

just drain fluid, remove driveshaft, replace seat then reassemble. |

Pretty much what Rob said. I found them quite fiddly but not overly frustrating. Not expensive at all from Mr. Toyota.
