Hi all I was in the middle of cleaning my engine bay and it turns out I have a TRD panel filter. Wanted to ask if its a serviceable item? From the top (side going to throttle body) it looks like a K&N filter with the pleats. But on the bottom ( fresh entering air) there's a giant pillow wool pad on the underside. Not sure whether to just wash it with water and let it dry, or to clean it and re oil it. Anyone? Edited by Tonkatsu, Dec 23 2012, 07:07 AM.

Yep as Parrot said if it's foam yes you can clean it out however if it's paper then definetley not, you say it looks like a K&N Which are cotton, if it is cotton like a K&N You can clean this however certainly not with water! Order a K&N Cleaning kit. |

I'll see if I can get some pics and post em up. At this point I won't do anything that may damage it. Will keep it intact |
