Gear oil for a 6-speed (no LSD)

Hi guys,
Had a search on here but couldn't find a recommendation for oil for the same 'box.
The car is a 1999 BZG with a 6-speed and no LSD. What oil should I use in it and what volume does it take?

Also I was thinking of changing the gear oil about every 10,000Km, does that sound about right?

Thank you all in advance

For a daily car, any good quality gl4 oil is fine. If you're going to do track days, then gl5 would be recommended. 2litres should be enough. Every 10k km is a bit excessive. Gearbox oil doesn't see as much heat as engine oil, unless you are on track. Doing a gearbox oil change every 20k will be enough to make sure your gearbox stays in top condition.

Thanks for the reply. The car is a daily. Is 75w-90 gl4 the oil it needs?

Yeah. That oil grade is fine. Just buy a good brand one.
