I don't know the regulations in Australia (if there are any) for importing a car, and how much extra will an import cost you. But I believe that with your budget you can find a good Levin/Trueno from Japan. Welcome to the forum by the way!

Hey there welcome mate. I have done very little research into importing a car. I ended up buying my Levin from someone who imported it himself. But check out www.j-spec.com.au it is a good place to start, I was almost going to import an AE111 through them if I could afford to. |

I know a bloke looking to get rid of one. Black BZR. Recaro interior, Tein Super street coilovers, Hks headers and cat-back, sard cat, trd upper strut brace, cusco lower arm brace, app braided brake lines, trd pads, imec trumpets, trd short shifter arc intake chamber. Also has a toms intake to go in with a hks mushroom and will soon be getting the rear main oil seal replaced and an exedy heavy duty clutch put in. Has also had the major service done. |

just so you known the Levin and Trueno are essentially the same car (lights and bumper can be different) but its a Sprinter Trueno and Corolla Levin. so if you get a Corolla Levin make sure its right on the registration docs. insurance companies here prefer the Trueno to the Levin (weird i know) |
