im in the middle of a conversion that we started today & the car has a cable speedo sensor goin to the gearbox but the box im using is electronic ..... any1 ever come across this before & do somethin to make it work ? |

i got the mechanical sensor out of the box & put it into the levin box, so hopefully this is sorted |

What Engine are you running and what type of car? The Blacktop ECU needs Speed Sensor input in order to function properly so if this is a blacktop ECU you will have the CEL blinking. The ECU will limit your revs to 7000+ RPM if it does not read the speed sensor but this can be solved by wiring the Speed Sensor Wires to the dash to give the ECU a reading. ive now had to use Levin clocks so im back using the Levin sensor so all is good |
