Getting a 21 flash code which is for the o2 sensor. Bench tested my recently replaced sensor and its working bang on so its not the sensor. Next up got a mechanic to do a continuity test, he said all was good there. He said it could be a bad cat backing up the exhaust fumes that is causing the sensor to give a wrong reading so I put in a de-cat but the flash code kept coming. Next I put in a standard ecu but no change. There is an apexi safc on the car so I thought the previous owner might have done the blue wire mod for an o2 read out but I checked and he didnt. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be? Any irish lads have a number for a good auto electrician in the north east? Im from monaghan but the closest large town to me is dundalk if that helps. would really appreciate some replys as I have nct next week and thought this was gonna be an easy fix!!! |

Have you reset the ecu by disconnecting the battery for 10mins. Your best off taking out the safc cause the standard ecu rejects it after a few days. |

Yeah I reset the ecu. If I unplug the safc the engine light comes on and the idle drops to 600. There is no program on the safc cause I reset it |
