Depends on what mods you are planning to do, your budget and the use of your car!!

For road use, I will suggest a chipped ECU. (i.e Mine's ECU)
For more than 160whp, I will suggest a standalone ECU

Problems with those chipped ECU's that you'll never know for what setup they are programmed. Besides that they'll sometimes have a very high RPM limit. Too high for a stock 20V imo.

I would go either for a Emanage blue (depending on your goals) or otherwise an omex 600 or other standalone. Keep in mind that if the rumours are true, the only piggyback that won't be recognised by the oem ecu is the emanage.

I tried emanage, and I got no gains.. Waste of money. As for the chipped ECU, I am suggesting him to buy a new one, according to his mods. I have a chipped ECU on my car, and it works absolutely fine for 4+ years with very good results ;)

This question is always asked and first thing you need to do is speak to who is tuning it and ask what ECU's they are happy working with. Then go from there.

Who did chip you ECU? Cause as far as i know Toyota's ECU's are very difficult to chip and only Tom's, Blitz, Mines and some other were able to do that.
