Odd electrical connector.

Under the bonnet of my BZG, on the left, between the grill and the radiator is an empty electrical connector going nowhere. It's close to and similar to the fan connector block. Any ideas what it's for?

Can't remember what it's for exactly, but I wouldn't worry about it. I have the same on my BZG and so do nearly all owners. I'm pretty sure it's for an optional extra that we don't have.

I believe that would be for the ambient temp sensor?
