Yo forum, so basically I've found a sick muffler to replace the stock one with and the inlet diameter is the same as the piping leading to the muffler (2"). Convenient! I was wondering whether it was even worth getting a catback exhaust system done or whether I should just swap the muffler (since I'm probably going to have the same diameter piping anyway). Cheers! |

Catback mate. You will get some hp that way. IF you change only the muffler, you will get only the noise, and no power |

sorry for a super late reply, but would I need to increase the diameter of the exhaust piping to make a difference or would there still be a difference if the stock size (2") was used? |

Try 2.25". Most of JASMA certified catbacks have this diameter |
