Hi I have built a clubman with a blacktop motor and we had a problem with low speed bogging down and backfiring ,found problem it was broken wire to knock sensor replaced knock sensor and wire ,also checked wiring to 02sensor ,now runs great,could save anyone with similar problem lots of grief! |

Thanks for posting that up! Good luck with the car! I presume that it's a lotus 7 type clubman? Feel free to post anything else, other questions etc. We have a few cars that are blacktop engine swaps on the site |
