Oy, I wonder if they'll even have time to name the damn war, what with stopping guerrilla partisans in both Canada and the CSA every eleven seconds for the next fifty years.

You mean HT would actually progress the situation in TL-191 Canada instead of just leaving it at the same status quo for 30 years (whereas some movements for adding states should have happened now)? :P

Threadjacking.

I was on Facebook recently and stumbled on a HT group. Found out that HT is coming out with a book in October called Appeasement but it's only mentioned on British sites (Silver's place doesn't mention it at all). Mitro thinks its probably WWII AH, but we have nothing to confirm or refute that - nothing at all other than a title, author, and date of release.

I'm intrigued by the title.

Could be the British title of The Man With the Iron Heart.

I don't think so b/c they have The Man With the Iron Heart and the British ISBN listed on the same site I found my information on.

Ok, scratch that.

I went ahead and posted a question at Videssos. Hopefully, Silver is still paying attention.

RE: [videssos] "Appeasement"

I have seen it on our search at work. I work for Borders Books & Cafe. I
haven't been able to find any more info on the book, though. Just title and
release date right at the moment.

I always thought you went by your real name on Videssos, like on Amazon.com (I miss posting there).

Eh, I figured if others from the BB Community were regulars there, they'd recognize me.

I haven't posted at amazon for some time, either. Review writing became a "responsibility" rather than fun, so I stopped. I was toying with starting up again in the new year, but nope.

The last thing I remember posting was a comment in someone's review of IATD, where he said that the series started with GoTS.
