Why didn't HT give the war in RE a name?; Just a random thought to start a thread

With no TL-191 book coming out this year I suspect those boards are dead.

You know something - I should have dropped a link when they were busy. At the time a couple of the posters were insufferable, but I reckon we would've lived.

You might look at the 1632 boards. They might be active enough to justify a link.

I'll keep it in mind.

And hell if I see HT discussions pop up again at Amazon I'll leave one there, too.

I went and read Mitro's speculation about what Appeasement might be. He presents an intriguing possibility.

I won't be Gizzi and say he's right, since all we have is a title. But the title does strike a World War II chord.

If you were Gizzi you'd be saying that that was the next TL-191 volume, because Evidence proved that it is.

You're right. To be truly Gizzisque, I will say "Clearly, the young soldier Potter spoke to at the end of IATD, follows Featherstone's path. Flora will make the mistake of appeasing him rather than fight a nuclear war. Hence the title."

He dropped the "e" at the end of Featherston's name last year.

I wonder how the Crappy Board's doing these days. Maybe they've heard of this Appeasement book.

No, I have it in my favorites at work. The Lastg post was something Makk wrote in December. It's a dead letter.

EDIT: I was tired when I posted.

Straha thought about going there to raise some hell under an assumed name. Evidently that never happened.
