Our forum, and many others hosted on some Zetaboards' servers went down for an hour or so this evening. This was a temporary problem at the hosts and is now resolved. No data has been lost.

For those technically minded, here is the report from Zetaboards
"Server Outage affected zIFBoards and ZetaBoards server 4, 7, 11 and 15
What happened? At 1:38PM Eastern Time (Sept. 27th, 2016) a fault with a disk controller and/or disk caused a hard drive to fail. The server remained online but began displaying "Unable to connect to board server. Please check back soon."
As part of the recovery/repair process the server was taken completely offline and connections would have timed out without any further error message or information. The server was fully back online by 4:23PM.
What went right? We were able to minimize downtime and avoid any data loss. Our plan of action for determining the nature of the failure and the best recovery option allowed for this outcome.
What went wrong? We were able to provide updates on the Support Forum but we were not able to provide detailed updates on the actual board error pages during the downtime. We were unable to immediately shift to a backup as that would have lost some recent board data. What will we be doing to improve? We are immediately evaluating the need for further hardware repair/replacement on this server. We will be implementing an enhanced backup solution that will allow for an immediate switch over to backup data without any data loss. We will implement a system that allows for status updates to be posted to boards when a board is down."

In the time that L & C and RevellAtions have been hosted on Zeta servers, any sort of outage has been a very rare occurrence. When there's been a problem it's been dealt with swiftly.

I thought it was Demon playing up again but after 5 mins, up popped a huge graphic saying my Computer was fine, the Demon server in London was fine but Zetaboards had a big red cross through it stating no response.
