Huddersfield sports centre Southgate Huddersfield HD1 1TW
10am - 5pm
A grand day out in Yorkshire spent in some excellent company. T16S (Stuart), TimJ, IanW, Antsmodels attended along with Antsdad and Dave Evans who are not members of the ATF website. Contributions and harassment came from DH764 and Buzz who were guarding the Tornado stand facing us.
We only get two tables for this show but make maximum usage of it. I only bought paint but the others went bargain crazy.
Pics from the show.

My photos from the show - seemed well attended but there was a slight hiatus when the fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate the building at about mid-day. A few shots of the table - we only had two tables so it was a bit crammed with kits mainly from myself, TimJ, Stu and Ant. Tom only contributed a couple of kits but as one was the Nimrod it tended to dwarf the rest.

Somehow the table layout split itself into 'themed' areas. Wheeled things - mainly mine and Tims

Toms Nimrod

Stu's armour with an intruding dinosaur..

Flying and fighting things

We also managed a 'before and after' pairing from myself and Ant.

Ant managed to almost fill the area under the table with aquisitions, though Tim was not far behind. As the rest of us left the hall Tim was last seen still trying to wrangle two more car kits from a stall holder, to go with the ones he bought earlier, which included a 6 car Airfix rally set. I almost managed to not increase the stash but couldn't resist the nostalgia trip of an Airfix blister pack Fokker Triplane, mainly as it was probably one of the earliest kits I built and at the princly sum of £2 it didn't break the bank. Also bought some nice wooded bases for 50p each, some plastic strip and a set of assorted thin sanding sticks.
