Good pics considering the set up lightning we worked in. The black masking at the back of the hall hides the Falcons stand and it looks like it's flying over the shelving.

Good evening everybody all I can say is what a great weekend and thank you everybody that contributed to the show . The display was one of the best we have had and all went down well with the crowd especially the 1/24th range . Here are a few more photos of the final display with no gaps . The last few are of some of the others that took my eye of which I took over 350 pictures

A most enjoyable event in very good company. A special 'thank you' to the hundreds of volunteers who give up their time over the weekend so that everyone else has a great time.

We tried to present complete 'sets' of some of the Airfix range with I think some success. Trevor Snowden, long time Airfix kit draughtsman and designer (1/24 Mosquito was probably his greatest kit but there were many, many others) stopped by for a long chat on Saturday and was very complimentary, especially of the 1/24 aircraft. We achieved close to 100% of the 1/12 figures, all of the 54mm and birds, most of the 1/76 armour and a good collection of cars, WWI aircraft, dinosaurs and Sci-Fi. We had a lot of comments from visitors, many starting with "I haven't seen one of those before..."

Thank you to all who contributed to the display.

Colin
