Hello all. Some of you have the misfortune to already know me. Those of you that don't are probably in for a great big horrible surprise . As with most I started kit bashing as a kid when model shops were a plenty, toy shops and newsagents stocked kits and computers were something you only saw on Star Trek. Various other interests kicked in and scale modelling was forgotten apart from a brief spell in my thirties. The bug properly bit me about 10 to 12 years ago. I eventually found the ATF website and joined. Tom (thomasweir) invited me to join the AMSIG (I think he must have been drunk at the time ) and I've been making a nuisance of myself at as many shows as I possibly can ever since. I'm looking forward to doing likewise in the future, meeting up with members I already know, getting to know members I don't and participating on this site. Great job on the site lads, well done. I'm member #13 . Luckily I'm not superstitious, that was my shirt number of choice when I played football .

No offence taken fellas, the league I played in introduced a requirement for squad numbers to prevent players giving false names when booked or sent off (a players registration form had to have a squad number allocated to it). No one wanted the '13' so I took it.
