The last flying Vulcan is making an aerial tour this Saturday and Sunday. Locations and approximate timings are on the link below:

I'm thinking of going to Doncaster to see her take off (saw her 2 weeks ago) and then waiting around until she comes to land. I think she's doing a few flypasts or a mini display at Doncaster with those timings.

I think I'll just wait till RIAT, and see her flying for FIVE days in a row. :P :wow:

Managed to get to see it - albeit at a distance of about 5 miles away as it did a figure of eight over Woodford. Took a series of very grainy photos - just about able to see the cameo pattern.

I was again at Robin Hood Airport (Finningley) this afternoon to watch the end to this tour. She did several passes of the airport including some low passes of the runway and we were treated to a mini display.
I have some footage to upload to YouTube (to go with the footage I took 2 weeks ago) when I've edited some of the audio. I'm split the footage up into sections but will also post the whole video of the display.
If allowed I will add the link here when the uploads are live

Hi Nick

Links to anything of modelling interest are allowed and very welcome, post away! XH558 was due to be in my area today around 13:30. Something very loud went over but the cloud was low so sadly I didn't see anything.

That's a shame Colin. The Airfix Vulcan kit of XH558 is one of my must have models for my display case. Now she's having to retire, it makes me more determined to get hold of one and build her. I will be there for her final arrival at Doncaster and the model will be with me (hopefully).

My YouTube channel is under the same name as I use on here and the ATF.

Hi Nick
If you end up with an early Vulcan boxing without 558's decals you are welcome to mine as my kit (if I ever take it down from the shelf of doom) will be done as XM655 at Wellesbourne. Anyone looking for decals for other camouflaged Vulcans should look out for airdecal sheet 7215 which has decals and serials for many camouflaged Vulcans.

Thanks Colin. I'll probably just buy XH558 kit direct from Airfix but if I buy a second one, I'll make it into a different one and buy a separate decal sheet from somewhere.
Videos are now up on YouTube of Sunday's passes and a short one of her landing will be added later today (YouTube link is in my comment above).
