It was a most enjoyable day, I'll post some pictures after dinner. Andy forgot to mention that his WWI bus diorama was awarded a second in the open competition.

Hi all,

I've not long got back from the show. I spent a wonderful day in the company of James, Tim, Colin and Andy. There was plenty of great models to see, and I will share these over the next few days. The SIG table was supplemented with a few new idea's for displaying our models. Hopefully this will enhance our tables, and make them stand out from the rest.

I didn't buy much. I got my AMSIG mug from Colin, 10 bottles of Model Air, a book called 'Forgotten Voices of the Second World War' for £2, and my bargains were a tin of Airfix paint for 50p and the Airfix 1/48 Merlin for £26 brand new in box :wow:

We also had another winner. Andy was awarded Runner-up in the diorama category

The AMSIG logo base under the Mustang in this picture is a mockup I made. Coastal Kits are printing up a couple of A4 and A3 versions for us.
