A splendid day spent in good company with Colin, Ant, Gary and the Tonka Andy's.
A small venue in a large stadium with a few access problems early in the day but once in Ant grabbed plenty of bargains.

The set up

Our very own Mr Marrow came away with first prize in the 1/72 Scale aircraft category.

I bought a Cessna 0-1A from Ant for £4 and an Italeri Mig-37B from Pat at collectakit again for £4.

More pics tomorrow.

An excellent day out. This was the first show put on by the club and it went well. We had four tables immediately opposite the entrance so we benefited from a cool breeze and good footfall. just a few pictures:

Ant's excellent diorama attracted attention, I wish I had been this imaginative and skilled at his age

Hi all,

A great display. Ant's dockyard dio looks impressive. I would like to see that at more shows. Well done Colin for another AMSIG win

Three awards??? I count five at the moment. Cosford - best display. Coventry - 2nd for Andy for his diorama. Two for Glen at IPMS Avon. And now Colin on Sunday. That's quite a haul. We may need a cabinet for the awards :wow:
