A very well organised event at a new venue for Sutton Coldfield MMC. Plenty of natural light and a good mix of traders. Catering was provided by the same group of ex-servicemen who attend several other Midlands shows we visit. The school was in the middle of a residential area and there were plenty of visitors early on. We were in the smallest of the three rooms.

Just a couple of pictures from me, Mark will be along in due course with the good ones. Thanks to Andy, Mark, Tom and Tim for an enjoyable day out and to Dave Evans for providing some kits for the display.

A great day spent with splendid company. A good varied display once again with added contributions from AMSIG member Dave Evans. We helped Ollie over on the Tornado SiG stand with some Airfix Tornados too.
Unlike some I won nothing on the tombola but did get a free VC-10 conversion set from Mel at S&M Models for confusing me with the set of instructions he wrote for my AWACS 707 Whif.

Bought some stencils for Tornado GR4's in 72 scale and two pots of paint.

I left the camera at home so no pics from me.

Hi all,

Well my umpteenth show of the year, in the excellent company of Tom, Tim, Andy and Colin. I had a great time, after I had originally stopped off at the wrong show (Trains and toys), and got lost! :fear: As reported elsewhere, my only purchase was a 1/24 Harrier for £2! Well, that's how much the tombola tickets cost. I finished the day by photographing Andy's excellent WW1 diorama for a (hopefull) magazine article. I'll post some pictures of the show later, but for now, here is Andy's diorama.

Mark.

I mentioned today how often our kits feature on other clubs' websites and show reports. Alan Brown from Leicester Modellers always writes an interesting report of shows they attend, here is his from today

Scroll down a little to see one of Dave Evans lovely models, photo demonstrates the benefits of 'branding' the table.

Hi All,

A good photo of the Terrific train there. You're right with the branding. Here are a few I took of our tables. I'll post some of individual models tomorrow.

For a fairly small amount of table space, that's a really great looking display. It's not just the high quality and variety of the models - it's the total presentation package.
