A most enjoyable day out in excellent company, thank you to Atric, Chris and Mark. Sadly James had to work today. We put a few kits on L&C and Paul loaned us a couple of Chipmunks for the day. It was the quietest Yeovilton show we have every displayed at and there seemed to be fewer clubs and traders than usual.
Just a few photos, Mark will be along in a day or so with the good ones! Lighting is always harsh at Yeovilton but it seemed brighter this time. Even with the reduced numbers we had a lot of interest and Atric's collection of Vac-Forms and Airfix conversions attracted many modellers.
There are always a lot of children at Yeovilton so Mark put together a collection for them:

We grouped items by type.

The big Spitfire is from Glen & Atric, now at Marrow Mansions ready to go to Telford.

No Airfix people attended, the museum organised a Lego make and take which was very popular. A simple blue & white Hawk could be made for a couple of pounds.

Atric's conversions, all started life as an Airfix kit and then got the treatment.

Some colourful Vac-Form Civilian types attracted a lot of comments.

A very good day. Good to meet up with Phil Churchill again. Phil has displayed with us a Yeovilton a couple of times in the past and is probably best known for his paint conversion tables http://scaleworld.info/

Hi all, It was a great show, the first time I have been to this one, great company in the form of Colin, Mark and Gerry.
I was very restrained on the purchases just an Italeri 1/ 48 F-16 DJ and 4 paints.

It was a great day as I found out about this forum, grabbed a couple of bargains, sold a few kits and actually got home with more money in my pocket than I went out with! Also, it's always good to chat face to face with some great people, all in all a fantastic day out!

Hi all,
Well, another Yeovilton show. I enjoy this venue, despite the dark area's. I had a great time in the company of Colin, Chris and Gerry. All I bought was a 50p Airfix sticker, which now lives on my laptop. One day I will go to the museum when there is not a show and see the exhibits. Anyway on with the photo's I took. I find the lighting a bit tricky to shoot in, but here we go.
The AMSIG display.
