This is not a show we currently display at but it's one I've been to on a few occasions. It's not the biggest show in the World, I'd say in terms of the volume of displays and traders it's on a par with the London show we've started displaying at over the last two years. It's spread out in the local parish hall which isn't the biggest building around but I've found it to be a nice friendly show to attend and will be going again this year as an observer. I mentioned this to John (Arpie) and Stu (Stuzzar) at the London show recently and they seemed enthusiastic.

For those who don't know Lancing is on the South Coast in Sussex sandwiched between Brighton and Worthing. The easiest way I've found to get there by public transport is a train to Brighton and another one a few stops along the coast to Lancing. The parish hall is a 10 minute walk from the station but there's a café on the way which serves decent, reasonably priced food so I have a hearty breakfast before attending the show. There's a nice little pub a 5 minute walk from the show towards the seafront that's worth a visit if one's inclined to partake in alcoholic refreshment after a hard slog round the display tables  . There's a frequent bus service along the seafront and if it's a nice day one can take a 10 minute trip up the coast to Worthing where there's an old, well preserved Victorian shopping arcade that has (or it did on my last visit) a burger bar that sells burgers made on the premises. If you like a burger you'll love these (think the Rolls Royce of burgers and you're there).

Here's a link to the show website:

Like I've said John (Arpie), Stu (Stuzzar) and myself are planning on attending and anyone else who fancies a day out at the seaside is more than welcome to join us. As far as I know it doesn't clash with any of the other shows we currently attend.

Yes, it's a pity you don't live closer Colin, it should be a good one. I'll be sure to post a report. Who knows, if the consensus of opinion is favourable maybe we can apply for space and add it to our show circuit.

It'll be good to see you Chris, make sure you take the train  .

I think we're thinking more of a fact finding outing this time round, like we did with the Islington show.
