Remember, you must discard down to five instead of six.

Every time you discard a card, it gets shown to Chew, who may choose to keep it.

I'm not sure, if the 4 shared cards are all heart and clubs we would have to use a straight as the definitive hand and I think is really likely the opponent right know has a flush.

But well I guess we should play thinking of winning instead of not losing, so go for that J,Q,A of Spades and 10,K of Diamonds set

You think it's likely that they'd be one of those suits?
With only one Heart card, I'd say relying on the four cards is a bad idea. If even one is another suit, or even a different number, we'd lose, and this is an elimination round.

Why do you think the opponent has a Flush already?

We were going to do that anyway, but why?

?
I just felt like warning. You mean, you gave the command.

Anyway, so does the 7 of spades.

You have left:
Eight of Spades
Jack of Spades
Queen of Spades
Ace of Spades
Ten of Diamonds
Three of Diamonds
Four of Diamonds
King of Diamonds

Oh, I thought he meant that the cards I initially mentioned as my two were discarded suddenly, not the cards I'd started discarding, my bad.

Discard: 8 of Spades

we have barely seen any heart or club card, and they can keep 7, so I think it's very likely for them to keep at least 5 cards of the same suit

I see what you mean. But I'd say with the way they were acting in the Challenge thread, they weren't getting good sets.
And if they got mostly hearts, then that makes it less likely that the final four cards would be hearts.
You a poker player?

What's done is done, though. We can only hope for the best with this. If what you theorised is true, then damn.

Normally I play with friends once or twice every year, though I always rely on luck and do kinda stupid things when I'm not scared to lose :arlong:
