Game type - Theatre Game location - An area with 1-2 rooms and a central table which will act as an eating area and planning area. Themes - Political intrigue, medieval, fantasy, seven deadly sins and seven heavenly virtues. Rating - 18+ for age due to themes. The setting - Welcome to the world of Angorn, a world controlled by 7 noble houses who form a powerful council and king that rule over the land. Think 12-14th century in technology and knowledge, but magic and gods are real in this world but their influence is strange and cryptic, as ones actions and thoughts are watched by the gods and those deemed to be the gods champions are marked by them both physically and spiritually. There are 14 gods, one for each sin (Sloth, greed, wrath, lust, pride, gluttony and envy_ and one for each virtue (Diligence, charity, mercy, chastity, Humility, temperance and compassion) these gods mark people on their flesh for committing great acts of their specific sin or virtue. Though these gods are not good nor evil they are strange forces that test morality. The Noble houses - Each of the noble houses of Angorn Embodies a Sin and a Virtue except for Humility. House Taelus - Sin - Sloth Virtue - Mercy Dress and colours - Simple medieval clothing though very casual nothing militarised (no gabesons etc), Light blues and whites. Lands - A cool yet temperate isle whos vegetation has drug like physiological effects. Culture - The Taelans are an island people living on an off shore island with a bountiful land though the land itself is not what it seems as all the vegetation has a psychoactive effect making living solely off the vegetation in the land for normal men impossible. The Taelans are resourceful and instead of abandoning the island for living upon they farm and export the vegetation as drugs and medicine across the land in exchange for food and all the essentials they need. The Taelans usually live on farms where they farm the vegetation, though the nature of the process is so easy and simple that one merely needs to harvest every now and then and that is about it, thusly where the term as lazy as a Taelen farmer came from. The Taelens do not hold grudges and take a forgive and forget mentality to problems, thusly they have the smallest military force instead acting as diplomats and a neutral party when the nobles dispute. House Godegg Sin - Gluttony Virtue - Charity Dress and colours - Average functional medieval clothing, browns and dark greens Lands - Rolling fields and large plains, perfect farming land rich with rivers though on the colder side. Culture - THe Godeggians are a simple and charitable people, with every man and women that is a citizen has lived on a farm, born on a farm or owns a farm. The Godeggs provide food for almost the entirety of Angorn and if it wasn't for most of their operations breaking even or operating on a loss they could easily be the richest house in the land. But that would be against Godeggian hospitality which is almost like a religion there, travelling across the countryside one could walk into any home and be welcome with an extra chair at the table for supper and not one thing would be asked in return. Due to the fertility of the land and the amount of food around the average godeggian is more stout than the average man or women, but this doesn't stop them from having a considerable millitia force if their lands were attacked. The United Republic of Angorn Sin - Greed Virtue - None Colours - Coats and hoods and many belt accessories also alot of jewellery, golds and blacks. Lands - Large relatively untouched fields with very densely packed cities including Gallador the city of thieves. Culture - The United republic of Angorn (URA) is built on the remnants of the Noble house of Avaricia, which is now dead with only one survivor of their highborn still at large their evil ex king Grimaz. The URA was created by the Order of the Gilded rose an organisation of primarily lowborn Avaricians at first has spread across Angorn with the word of Democracy. The URA and the Ministry of the Gilded rose (Their new name) hate the Highborn and what they stand for to the core, they see their use of their bloodlines to achieve power as lazy and repugnant. The people of the URA are currently just the Avaricians of old, the poeple have stayed the same and are welcoming the change of putting the power to the people as well as new things as healthcare and welfare. House Arvan Sin - Pride Virtue - Chastity Dress and colours - Practical yet regal clothing or shining armour silver. Lands - Rocky mountain ranges to the east, to cold frigid ones to the west, the ranges themselves dotted with huge cavern systems. Culture - The arvan are some of the only staunchly religious houses worshipping Asmodeus and Varden the gods of light and purity, their very lives twisted and controlled by their edicts which are very strict (think puritan). The arvan nobles themselves are extremely reclusive and when they are seen they never show their faces it is rumoured that the servants who work for them in their homes are blind so they may not gaze upon them. The arvans in general take great pride in their work and everything is decided by merit, especially when it comes to smithing which is their greatest export as they control most of the iron in the land and know how to create Arvan steel which some believe is not even steel at all due to it's almost magical properties. House Cregan Sin - Wrath Virtue - Diligence Dress and colours - Cregans always wear armour though at least a gambeson of some kind and they adorn themselves with furs black and red. Lands - A cold mountainous region, very hostile and almost unlivable but the cregan's have small mountain forts dotted around the lands and the rest of them live as nomads. Culture - The Cregan's were for the longest time simply known as the barbarian horde attacking and killing the other noble houses with impunity and only recently within the last 40 years have they settled down with the help of the Arvans. The cregans live in massive stone forts dotted around the country side, they have next to no infrastructure living completely from the money they earn for mercenary efforts. The cregans are the kind of people they do not deal in words but action and are completely impatient, though when it comes to action and explicitly fighting they are the greatest army angorn has ever seen as every man, women and in some cases children can fight. The cregans see cowardice as the ultimate sin and giving up on something before seeing it through as one of the worst things you can do, thusly desertion from battle is always met with death. House Valbius Sin - Envy Virtue - Temperance Dress Colours - A very natural flowing clothes that are also very functional, with wood or leaves built into the construction, bright to moderate shades of green Lands - A combination of super dense forests and swamps the land of the Valbians is not hospitable Culture - The Valbians live in some of the harshest environments in the land, the forests and swamps of vistum. Because of this they have very little and due to their remote location which is impossible to get their with large caravans they can accept little aid, die to this the Valbians are very self sufficient being the only house that would not collapse without the others. The Valbians still envy the other houses which has created a large distrust for Valbians and due to this the term "Never trust a Valbian" was coined. The Valbians live in the large darkwood trees of Vistum and make almost everything out of them also due to the particular properties of the dark wood which is being almost as hard as steel they make everything out of wood, but because of their xenophobic nature they have not shared with the other nobles the wood nor the secrets of how to use it. Also Valbians only use what they need due to this they have very little in excess material wealth. Recently the Valbians are stretching out into Angorn as a whole with a new trade port in Vilmouth opening. It is a new time for the Valbians which so far has been positive. House Arwine - Sin - Lust Virtue - Compassion Dress and colours - A very japenese feel to them (kimonos) very minimalist yet striking colours, pinks and purples Lands - A land of hills and light forests, with some of the best temperatures and climates in the land, though the land has many highs and lows making farming difficult on the large scale. Culture - The Arwinians are people with true freedom as the nobles do not rule with an iron fist but only supply basic protection to its people and trust in the people to work things out, which has worked surprisingly well. the Arwinians people go on a Pilgrimage when they come of age, they set off from home and do what they can to live until they return and due to the natural beauty and free spirit and sexual culture of the arwines that tends to be prostitution which is arwines biggest export and one of the only reason they are still alive. The arwinians are free though to choose any path they wish though many aspire to be craftsmen and artists creating amazing things whether that be art, music, technology or even wine. Recently the Cregans are no longer holding the Arwinians ransom, they no longer need to pay tribute instead a powerful military alliance has been formed. Your character - For this game I have 7 nobles high lords that need to be represented, they have there own characters that tie into the plot (though names can be changed as the names are not unisex), other players will play ambassador's, diplomats guards and even servants that can have any character they want which will be discussed and created with me. The sessions - The sessions will be in full medieval costume (as close to the theme as possible is fine as well) and will be a diplomatic meeting about what has happened in the ingame world over the past month then you all debate what is to be done and fraternise with each other, creating alliances and all that. The system - This will be a systemless roleplay based game, similar rules to the paradise island game. SO if you read all that thanks alot, if you are interested post below also if you wanna play a lord which one? Obviously I need the 7 lords filled before extra roles can be completed, also every character has more to them than the bio I gave but that is secret stuff ;). Is the age rating a suggestion or is it mandatory? I am only 15 but love court intrigue and politics. Thanks in advance. |

It's mandatory in this game because of some of the adult themes. There is a political fantasy one shot called The Annihilation Treaty that, while quite different in tone, could still hit the right spot. You can see it in the Multiverse category. |

Sam (CtL) ... that quiet kid with the headphones who is also loud and tries too hard to be friendly. Evzenia Radovek (SW) ... nothing like a paladin of lies to provide all your surgical needs. | |
