Whether its a military exercise or conflict, in order for things to go swiftly, great detail has to go into the planning and carry out of the operation. Governments must take into account their transportation infrastructure, necessary supplies, available equipment and assets and location of their military force. Diplomacy may also be taken to improve the chances of success.
