So I have a question. During my sample role play, which does not actually need to have any bearing at all on what might or might not happen in the future, I had a random mercenary to bounce Taryn's ideas off. If I wanted to 'utilise' that said-same NPC for the early part of my journey, is it OK to do so without writing him up as a character concept? Although I don't mind creating Jareth as a fully-fledged character, I don't know that I'd want to role play with myself constantly for ever... ...if you know what I mean. |

That sounds absolutely no problem at all Tarreh. Having removed the whole shop-item and post-count conflict, what's the harm of you writing your given npc? -provided you aren't god-moding someone elses character into a situation they might be less than happy about. [edit] I guess what I'm, saying; is that anything you are willing to take the time to make legitimate in character, should be fine. And I don't mean serendipitously discovering a cave full of weapons just when you need a set of srmour... I'll find you... I'll make you regret it. If it's done in the interest of literature, and good reading material, assume it's okay. |

I'm doing it so I can have a bit of a story going on until such time as someone else drops a character in for me to play with.

That must make it... supafine. Anyways, I agree with Eluthaun on this one. If he's not going to put other characters into a god-modded mudhole, I think it's fine. |
