Hi guys
The problem of snails is a pain in the a--- what i do when they get to much is blanch a few lettuse leaves then when the lights go off place at the bottom of the tank.As it seem that nobody sleeps this next bit is easy every few hours carefully lift out the leaves placeing a net under tham to catch the snails as they fall, than flush the snails off the leaves and put them back into the tank. This is not the total answer but it can control there numbers.

I've tried that with all of my tanks and they seem to multiply faster than I can pull them out

I'm hopeful that i've solved the problem in two of my tanks. One by painstakingly pulling them all out one by one and checking everything in the tank for egg sacks. This took quite a few hours. The other tank I actually done a major strip down on it & thoroughly cleaned everything including the substraite....

Seems to be working so far... have only found 4-5 snails in the first tank (60L) and only 2 in the other tank (90L). Needless to say... all snails spotted are exterminated on sight.

And in the 250L... the yoyo's finally seem to be getting a taste for snail snacks .. as there as quite a number of empty snail shells showing up... otherwise.. I will keep doing the food trick until I can completely eradicate them too.
