The sara may still take them one day though, you can never tell with them as they will live with certain fish for ages then they may slowly dissapear. :thumb

eeeeek are u serious? its been about 1 year and 4 months theyve been together and toga doesnt even care about it

Togas are similar to red devils in some ways.

Can live with other tank mates for years then for no reason, just wake up grumpy one morn and wipe everything out.

HOLY **** thanx aggies ill keep that in mind!!! will try get another tank after my exams and leave toga alone. do togas like being alone? cause i have a common plec in there too 35cm about his size would he harm the plec too?

I have found large pl*co's seem to do ok, ours now and then will have a go at biting one, when there is one large enogh to go in there. The spines must deter him enough to leave them alone.

As far as living alone thats the norm with saras, young ones may school for awhile, but adults are usually on their own till breeding season, when they all meet up at the pub on the bend :wink2
