Plecos And Plecaultia; What species are available?

I am interested in the smaller species that would suit smaller tanks. :thumb

As for the smaller species that are allowed in SA

other than the bristlenose species

L104 Clown Pleco comes under many synomons Panaque maccas i think is the current name. Grows to 8cm

L168 Dekeyseria pulcher *Butterfly Pleco* Grows to 15cm

Both are formally Hemiancistrus sp

There are possibly a few others in Australia, but they look very similar to the L104, and because they usually are imported as L104 and sorted out once they are here i cant see the justifcation in the price difference. Which is massive in comparison.

Once the price drops a bit on those then i will look into them more to see which ones are allowed in SA

Clowns usually between $75 - $110 depending on size

Butterflys From $60 - $140 depending on size
