This will hopefully be the meat of the forum, and we need to have some rules in place to keep things going smoothly.

1. NO GODMODDING. This means no controlling other players (without their express consent). Making all of your attacks critical hits, dodging everything, leaping a hundred feet into the air... It's silly. It's not fun to RP with people who do that, and we want to have fun.

2. SPELLCHECK. Roleplaying is by design a written endeavour. Posts full of simple mistakes, misuses of things like there/their/they're, they make it a little harder to play. They're still understandable, but please try to keep things in check.

3. CHARACTERS. You may have more than one. In fact, you may have as many as you want. As long as they all have approved profiles. Though when RPing, please refrain from double-posting if you have multiple characters in the same place. Use the same post with changes to text colour, or some way of letting us know that the other character is also there. Which brings me to...

4. ROLEPLAYING. You are allowed to make roleplaying threads anywhere inside the RP portion of the forum. If you wish to roleplay with somebody but have not decided on a direction for it, you can place "[open]" in the topic description. This tells people that it is open for anybody to join. If you wish to roleplay with a certain member/character, use "[Shiro]" (for example). This lets other members know it is a semi-private roleplay.

5. MAGIC. Magic is a fantastical element, and as a result it requires some modifications in order to keep it running properly and fairly. Magic types are split into two schools, Offensive and Support.

Offensive magic revolves around inflicting damage. It is disallowed in towns, except in the case of player-initiated PVP, and certain story events. Due to the destructive nature of these magic schools, players wishing to cast them must wait two posts per thread to recast. That is to say, two of your posts. So it goes like this. [You cast magic] [Someone else posts] [You post] [Someone else posts] [You post] [Someone else posts] [You may use offensive magic again in this post]

Support magic encompasses various indirect combat spells. Healing, stat buffs and debuffs, and status effects. You can learn more about which magic does what here (click me!). It is not a comprehensive list. Due to the less damaging nature of Support magics, one may be cast per post if you so desire. With the exception of healing spells, which can be cast every other post.

6. MULTIPLE RPS. Characters can be in more than one thread at a time. However, think about the passage of time, and canonical information. If your character's sword breaks in a thread, and you then join another thread that takes place after the first, but your sword is intact again? Kinda messes with the timeline.
