| Roleplay Rules |
|---|
Words Per Line - 5+ Words per line when normally roleplaying
- 7+ Words per line during combat lines
- Using words such as: "I'd" or "You're" only count as one word.
Action Markers - Each action must be captioned by either * or -
- If the lines are not then the line is void or invalid
E.g.: "-He'd send his hand down to his side, to take up his sword-" or "*Taking off his helmet with both hands, he'd bow before the man*"
Chat Speak
- Any form of 'Chat Speak' will not be counted as a word. It will be deemed a typo, and not added to your word count.
- Examples of Chat Speak are: 'u' 'ur' etc.
Typos
- During combat you are only allowed two typos per line. If you exceed that number then that line is void, and must be retyped.
- For example: "-Swinging ym sword towards your nekc, it would fly towards the skin-" would be void.
Melee Attacks
- In order to utilise a melee attack you must: Swing the weapon towards them, then have it connected.
- To actually commence a melee attack you must have roleplayed being within range of the person, and have a melee weapon out (If you're attacking with a weapon and not your fists)
- If the person dodges the initial swing, or moves off of the weapon/removes the blade from their body you must redo the attack.
- For example: "-I lift my blade up, before bringing it down on your head-
-The metal tip of the blade would plunge into your skull, with the momentum of the slash-"
Ranged Attacks
- In order to utilise a ranged attack you must: Aim at your target, then launch the projectile, and then have the projectile connect.
- If the person dodges the initial aim, projectile or removes/moves off of the projectile then you must redo the attack.
- For example: "-I'd raise my bow, lining up the arrow upon your torso-
-Releasing the string, the arrow would be shot forwards at an immense speed- -With the arrow impacting upon your body, it would plunge into your skin-
Defense
- To defend from a melee attack you must either: Dodge the swing, Rip out a blade or move off of a blunt attack. (One line)
- To defend from a ranged attack you must either: Dodge the aim/projectile, Block the projectile or remove the projectile (One line)
- If you're knocked down then you must do at least one line to stand. (One Line)
Killing/Hurting
- In order to kill someone you must do six roleplay lines. These lines are separate to the connection line.
- For example: "-With the cold steel cutting into the skin, you'd be in immense pain-
-Through my control it would continue to press into the muscle within the neck- -Your neck would begin to be cut in two, as the blade continues into the nervous system- -Finally it would crunch into the bone, although due to the sharpness of the blade it would cut through- -I'd finish with the cut, the head being cut off from the shoulders of your body- -The blade would cut out of the remaining skin, resulting in your almost instant death-"
- To remove/cripple a limb you must complete four lines. They should be similar to the example above, but with two less lines.
- To paralyse a person you must complete five lines. They should be similar to example above but with one less lines, and be realistic. For example you could not paralyse someone by cutting off their wrist, but you could be slamming someones spine into a hard floor.
Leaving an area
- In order to leave an area/room you must complete three, uninterrupted and consecutive lines.
- For example: "-I'd begin to walk down the path, away from the area.-
-Moving only further away, I'd continue to advance down the paths- -Finally my body would vanish from the area, and so I'd be gone-"
- If the lines are interrupted then your escape is invalid. For example if someone was to type a line of attacking you.
