DOWNLOAD: http://pcsx2.net/getting-started.html Recommended Specs Windows Vista / Windows 7 (32bit or 64bit) with the latest DirectX CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 3.2 GHz or better OR i3/i5/i7 @ 2,8 GHz or better OR AMD Phenom II @ 3,2 GHz or better GPU: 8800gt or better (for Direct3D10 support) RAM: 1GB on Linux/Windows XP, 2GB or more on Vista / Windows 7 My Recommended Settings for Persona ![]() Choosing the right settings can not only enhance your experience with the game on PC, (making it even more graphically impressive than on native PS2 hardware), but improve the presentation of your mods! ![]() Config > Emulation Settings > Aspect Ratio Try widescreen! ![]() Config > Emulation Settings > Speedhacks Leave them low and disable mVU flag hack if you don't need the speed boost. ![]() Config > Emiulation Settings > Game fixes If you're using this recompiler, there's a setting just for Persona. ![]() Config > Video > Plugin Settings I recommend using a graphics card/hardware renderer if you have one. Also, Direct3D9 or Direct3D11 over OpenGL. Reasoning: OpenGL fixes shadow draw distance, but causes clipping problems with close together textures (rugs, roads, lighting effects...) Also, Direct3D11 has some occasional (shader related?) flickering. Direct3D9 does not seem to have any of these problems. DISABLE native PS2 resolution!! the game will look a lot less pixelated. Anisotropic filtering and texture filtering make the graphics look a lot smoother, too! Trust interlacing with automatic settings. The other options will give you a headache, trust me. |
