Your time has RUN OUT
[ * ]
After having exited the jungle, Nanashi discovered a number of things about himself, a few that he knew he would not be able to change, things that had become a part of him due to being around for so long. The ronin walked through the path he had entered and thankfully, he ended up on the outskirts of the city. If it hadn't been so, he would have to spend the night in that jungle where he was wounded, the creatures there would no doubt be able to smell the fresh blood and through the night, he would not survive. The swordsman limped towards the city, his left arm was pouring crimson down the side as it hung in place, he was pretty sure that if he did not get to the city soon, it would be dead weight. His back had been severly injured as were his ribs which had been hit by the vicious creatures powerful tail, it was like having a tree fall onto his side, leaving a nasty purple welt that covered the entire left side. Nanashi's torso had pieces of dirt and grass clinging to it as he slowly put one foot in front of the other, his shoulders heaving up and down heavily as he tried to make his way to the clinic.

"Almost there...don't give up on me now body..." Nanashi thought as his vision began to grow a little cloudy the further he looked out towards the city. The ronin felt his leg buckle for a moment, causing him to fall forward but before he crashed down, he was stopped, his blade Kanyou being used as a cane to keep him up. Nanashi took in a few breathes and smiled, pushing himself up onto his feet as he looked forward. "Thanks." He said, acknowledging the spirit inside of his blade, he didn't know why it had helped him or if it even did in the first place, it could have been that he moved it out in front of himself without even knowing but something told him that someone or something had their eyes on him. As Nanashi took a couple of steps, he would lose track of bits of time, suddenly re-opening his eyes and appearing much closer than he was the last time he did so, he suspected that holding Kanyou was giving him a boost of speed or energy, causing his pace to quicken when he wasn't focused on too many things at once. Nanashi knew that if he was ever separated from his blade, he would be finished, what kind of man relies on his blade for everything? It was a great asset but to have so much wagered on holding it and keeping it by him, was Nanashi really a warrior or was he just a man whom had gotten lucky by coming across Kanyou.

"Almost there...I know you're running on fumes Kanyou but I need your help..." Nanashi felt himself becoming weaker, he was 50 feet from the outskirts of the city when suddenly, his eyes grew dark. The world around him disappeared and without so much as another word, Nanashi fell forward, face first into the grass, Kanyou, his blade lost its blue tint, growing dark and dull as well as the ronin lay there, completely motionless.

"Next time I find that rubber bastard, I'm going to clobber him into the ground." Nami muttered, as she sat by the edge of the jungle. She had lost her touch for robbery, as she had grown accustomed to the life of a pirate, and was used to having a getaway ship. "Only 112 Dollars, I must be doing something wrong." She muttered, usually she could make it out with at least five hundred, today she barely made it out with the hair on her head. She dusted herself off, she looked like a mess, which would make her life all the more difficult. "Ugh, if only everyone else was here, then I would have some encouragement."

Sheesh, she was getting soft, two years ago she wouldn't have cared. Then again, two years ago she was always alone. She wandered further into the jungle, not sure which area was safer. She heard a rustling in the bushes and quickly turned, holding out a wand-shaped object, her Clima-tact towards a wild tiger. "Everyone wants a damn shot at me, well then, take your best shot." She said, swinging the Clima-Tact like a bat, creating a sword seemingly made out of the wind, knocking the animal back. She smirked, that was better, getting something to be scared of her again. She slammed her heel into it's side, and began to push, before kicking it away. She had to have strong legs if she needed to run, but right now, she didn't feel like running.

"IS THAT ALL, ANYONE ELSE NEED AN ASS WHOOPING?" She yelled, before slumping down. She sounded like a crazy person, and she needed to tone it down a bit. She needed some time to think, that was it. She heard the sound of someone collapse, and decided to investigate. She peeked from behind a tree to see a strange-dressed man on the ground. She raised a brow, wasn't he an odd sight? Then again, everything seemed different here. This was a perfect oppurtunity to loot the guy, but she didn't want him to die. She approached the wounded man and propped him up against a tree. "I don't know if you can hear me or not, but I'm no doctor. You better be lucky I'm helping you anyways, I should have left you for someone else." She said, using the Clima-Tact to create a small cloud to trickle water on top of his wound. "Don't worry, I'm sure you'll live, at least, I think you will." She said, then beginning to pour water into his mouth, hoping that she wasn't drowning the poor fool.

She then sat back and waited until he came to, resting her chin in her palm. "So, who are you anyway? What brings you to this hell hole of a jungle?" She would ask, sliding some of the coins he snatched from him into her pocket.

The Nine Tails Jinchuriki
[ * ]
Naruto was walking through the forest, unaware of the other two people who were here as well. He was still new to this world. He still, even after encountering many people, did not know how he ended up here. One second, he was fighting an edo tensei, the next, he was in a strange world unfamiliar to him. The things that were unchanged were the little things. The grass was still green, the trees were still tall, and sky was still blue. However, there are things in this world that he had not encountered before. Civilizations seemed much more advanced then he had remembered. The leaf shinobi told himself to stay out of those places, not knowing what he might encounter.

Suddenly, he heard a loud thump, as if something heavy just hit the ground. He heard even more movement, followed by shouting. Curious, he broke into a run and headed over to the source of all the racket. He jumped into the trees, acting stealthy. Silently jumping from branch onto branch, he stopped when he saw the two people. He saw a man lying on the ground, with a familiar black hair and clothing. The other one, he did not know. Naruto took a closer look at the wounded man, and then it clicked. It's that swordsman guy! He told himself. Hs eyes widened in shock. He remembered him from the woods previously. He fought him in a not so friendly spar alongside a peculiar Uchiha Clan Member.

What is he doing here? More importantly, what happened to him? Naruto wondered. Thinking the orange haired, individual might know something, he hopped down from his branch, yelling. "HEY!" He shouted in mid air. He landed on the ground on his feet before standing straight up. "What happened to him?" He asked. The Nine Tails Jinchuriki rushed over and knelt beside him. He wasn't a Medical Ninja like his comrade Sakura, but he thought he might be able to help anyway.

Nanashi was out cold but as he lay there, he was stumbled upon by coincidence a woman having found him laying there. As she propped him against the tree, she cleaned his wounds to the best of her ability and then she gave him a few mouthfuls of water thanks to her seemingly magical abilities. After a few more moments, his eyes parted and his vision became clear, seeing Nami whom was crouched a few feet away from the injured swordsman but aside from taking a few coins, which he really didn't mind at this moment, she didn't seem to be a threat. She asked who he was and what he was doing so far from civilization, it was actually a pretty good question, no one in their right mind would venture here, though she just found someone laying there.

Nanashi straightened himself out as he used his arms to place his back against the tree more comfortably, he looked up at the orange haired girl and let out a sigh of relief. "Heh...thought I'd take a stroll..." He laughed weakly, each movement of the abdomen causing great pain though he had been in situations like this, laughing off the pain was a good way to keep the spirits high. As he looked around, he noticed an absence of his greatest possession, Kanyou was not by his side, he wondered if he had dropped it while fading in and out of consciousness. "My sword...you didn't see it by any chance did you?" He seemed a little more concerned about losing his blade than the injuries he had acquired. Nanashi placed his hands on the ground, trying to raise himself onto his feet but the added stress to the muscles caused his cuts to bleed more heavily.

"Damn it..." Suddenly, a second voice pierced through the silence, Nanashi looked up and was surprised to see Naruto who by complete coincidence had been moving about as well. Nanashi laughed again, it was kind of funny that everyone was coming to see him, he wasn't in the best state but he was still alive, at least that was something. He shook his head from side to side and looked to the both of them, he was going to need a few things to patch himself up. "I need you guys...to make a fire for me." Nanahsi looked to Naruto's equipment pouch and motioned him to get closer. "You're a ninja right? Do you have a kunai? Something metallic, maybe a shuriken?" He didn't know if the two of them knew how to start a fire but luckily, he was there to help them out. "I won't be able to make it to a doctor unless I stop the bleeding. The wounds are too deep to simply bandage and if I stitch myself, I'll create a blood clot." Nanashi was a very logical thinker, at least when it came to things like medicine, survival tactics and usage of materials.

"Heh, it's gonna suck but this leaves me with one option. I need to burn the wounds close and cauterize all of them. I can do my arm myself but I'm going to need someone to do it to my back." Nanashi let a weak grin move across his lips as he took in a breath. "So, who will it be?"

Nami smiled, "At least you didn't injure your sense of humor." She said, wincing a bit as she watched him move, or at least try to. "You're in no condition to be walking around, I'm surprised your not dead, must take some guts. Or you're extremely lucky." He then asked about a sword, in which she only responded with a simple shrug. She hadn't come across a sword when she found the guy, and if she did, there wasn't much she could do with it. Selling an object like that could cause suspicion, and that lead to trouble. That did raise some questions from her however,

She rushed over to the man, who was trying to get up to find his sword. "All you're doing is hurting yourself, it's a sword, it's not going to stand up and run away from you." She said with a slight chuckle. She was about to ask the mans name before she tensed up when she heard someone shout behind her. She turned to see a young blond-haired individual who seemed to come out of nowhere like he was a ninja or something. He must have been a friend of this swordsman, or at least an acquaintance. She gave a small wave as the swordsman asked if they could make a fire to burn his wounds, but was somewhat surprised to find out the boy was a ninja. Didn't ninjas dress in more... discrete clothing?

She shuddered at the thought of cauterizing the mans back, so she backed up, and waved to the boy. "Maybe you can do this one, I already woke him up and washed down some of his wounds, I don't think I need to do this part." She said with a nervous laugh. "You guys seem like you know each other anyways, I so I don't want to intrude on anything. I will stay here, just in case anything goes... wrong with the fire." She added, clutching onto the Clima-Tact. She slumped down by another tree. This was very odd, a ninja and a swordsman? She would have to be careful around the ninja anyways, who knew what his true intentions were, weren't ninjas glorified stealth assassins? Whatever they were, she was sure to keep a steady eye on them both.
