Reina sighed softly, glancing up at the clear blue skies of the world around her. Beautiful, just as beautiful as her own pale crystal blue eyes, crisp and attentive. Unfortunately however, the world revolving around with no mind paid to her was anything but. As far as the young adult woman was concerned, the few years she had spent working with the Amestrian Military were nothing short of a hassle, a note worthy chunk of time wasted. All because she had failed to reach Albert in time. Closing her eyes to her own bitter thoughts, she pulled up the hood of her jacket, cropped to show her well toned mid-drift. She contemplated the memories, mulling them over quietly of the man she had come to know as Albert. The Chimera Expert had been a treasure to her, primarily because he was such a wonderful person to be around. Kind hearted, and eccentric. The man was easily excited by the prospects of advancements in his craft, and was always eager to lend a hand to her own. "Albert, my dear friend. I am so sorry." She whimpered aloud, clutching her silver pocket watch tight within her hand, listening to the dull ticking of time, cruel as it was, without him at her side. Steeling herself, she sat up from her seat on the cold ground below her, dusting off her pants. Her eyes sparkling like crystallized shards of ice, as she thought on just where her feet would take her next. "I need access to a library." She mused privately to herself, slowly reattaching the chain to her pants as she carefully slid her trinket back into her pocket, patting it down slowly as if to tame a wild beast within it. She took a deep breath, pulled up her hood once more, trying to ensure that her identity would remain as it had for months now; secret to the bitter and cruel world around her. "I'll just sneak in, sneak out with a few books, and if any trouble crosses my path, I'll send out ol' Claymore and Muddane to dispatch of the threat." She nodded to herself, the curve of her lips turning upward at the punny pet names she'd devised for her Clay Serpents. Just as she turned sharply on her heel however, the sound of footsteps made her heart run as cold as her eye color was beautiful. The sound was so close, and her paranoia was running laps in her mind as each step grew closer to her. On the defensive now, but unable to see this new comer, she grit her teeth and clenched her fists. "Alright....either show yourself now, or I will force you. I don't like being watched." She snarled to the alleyways shadowed end, awaiting to find this stranger who had been invading her privacy; not that that was a privilege she could call her own anymore. WC: 485 |

*Spectra walked on the streets of Central City he at the moment was getting some time to himself he had ordered his loyal servant gus to stay in the warehouse they stayed in* "One day that Dan Kuso will pay and his dragonoid will be mine! or he will be crushed by my helios! isint that right helios?" *suddenly a ball flew out of spectras pocket revealing a bakugan who seemed to be named helios* Helios: "Yes Spectra soon i shall become the ultimate bakugan and that worthless excuse for the perfect dragonoid will be destroyed at my feet!" "Excited I see dont worry your excitement shall be fulfilled soon for now lets just continue our walk" *Spectra walked into a dark alleyway his shadow clearly seen in the sunset sky his red cape flowing down from his shoulders, he saw someone in the alleyway it was apperently a Woman who was not to much older then a teen probably in her mid to late 20s she was hooded and it looked like she was trying to hide from view who was this girl? Spectra intended to find out more unfortunately for him he was heard quite easily being told to come out from his hiding place* "Hmph you sure are a person who knows their surroundings" *he walked out from the shadows revealing himself to the woman his mask and hair glowing in the sunset light* wc: 235 Edited by Spectra Phantom, Jul 23 2015, 05:23 AM.

Reina's eyes focused then on a masked figure, caped and hiding from the rest of the world, with a strange creature, mechanical in nature and yet able to speak and vocalize like a human would. This sent every nerve on edge, every race of her heart beat pounding in her ears. A smirk crossed her face then, this man didn't seem so tough, nor interested in her in the slightest from the looks of it. "Forgive me for appreciating my privacy. I'm going to assume you're not from around these parts..." She trailed off, her sparkling eyes narrowing at the man in front of her. Her eyes scanned for any signs of a tell-tale sign that she would be in any danger of being caught by the Amestrian Military, a pocket watch, a chain, anything. So far however, the man's demented outfit didn't yield any results, but that didn't mean he wasn't potentially hiding it. How else did such a strange...Chimera? Chimera, as she assumed it was, be able to hang around him and float so freely. "Nice Chimera you have there. You wouldn't have happened to have gotten it from say...the military, would you?" She asked, taking a cautious step back, pushing her weight against the foot that did so. She slipped out a piece of chalk from her pocket, careful not to show any aggressive signs, lest she be attacked. She was simply trying to ensure her own survival, and safety, should this strange meeting suddenly turn...ugly. "Look, I've got somewhere to be. The alleyway is yours to keep, just don't you dare tell anyone that you saw a woman like me." She said, her eyes staying glued primarily to the creep in front of her, and not on the strange Chimera whatever the heck it was thing with him. "Just pretend I wasn't even here. Because I wasn't." She continued, taking another step back. "Unless... by chance you're actually friendly. I will say that Chimera you've got intrigues me." She grinned confidently. Judging by the way the man looked, he wouldn't be a match for her in terms of hand to hand....it was that strange chimera she was a little more concerned about. "How did you make it?" *Clearly this girl already didn't seem fond of him very much she seemed very protective of her own privacy and what not although she had guessed right* "Your right i am not actually around here im from a different dimension all together inside that dimension i live on a world called vestal you probably haven't heard of it and i don't expect you too" *although she did seem to take a liking to helios staring at him this caused helios to outburst when she called him a chimera* Helios: "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT I AM A DRAGON AND IF YOU FED ME UP ANYMORE ILL-" "Helios enough" *Spectra wasn't so keen on starting a battle right now with this girl especially when helios would have been the one who started it* "Helios is called a bakugan no i didn't get it from the military here heck i doubt they could create such a magnificent creature, no I got Helios from the dimension called New Vestroia, to be honest I dont care about this alleyway at all Im more concerned about you not many people sit in dark alleyways trying to hide like you why are you hiding may i ask?" *Spectra acted not in a demanding way but in a questioning way shouting at this girl would just provoke her so he played it cool and took his time keeping his composure her response would be interesting* Wc: 235 twc: 470 |

Reina blinked slowly. Did this weirdo really expect her to believe that? There were plenty of masked weirdos who ran around. At least, she was certain there had to be. Sure not many would look exactly like this guy, but surely, there were enough weirdos in the world. Anymore and she'd start to believe the entire populace was nothing but weirdos. Well, when they weren't alchemists that is. Suddenly the Chimera from before began to chime in, startling her slightly. The Dragon, as it called itself, sure had a mouth on it. But was immediately silenced by its owner. Her narrowed eyes stayed on the masked stranger, as he explained, the dragon, dubbed Helios, was not a chimera, but rather an entity known apparently to the masked blond as a Baku....Bacagone? She tilted her head a bit, her hood beginning to slowly dip, revealing locks of fine, smooth dusty blonde hair, darker in color than his own vibrant locks. Her hands slid to her hips then, as she steadies herself, studying the stranger a bit closer. His clothing, elegant as it was, did seem a little...out of place in an area as overpopulated as Central City was. And she thought she had crazy fashion sense. As the subject was steered into exactly why she was hiding in the alleyway, she clicked her tongue, turning her eyes away from him as her glare, now aimed at the wall, began to freeze over. Her eyes as cold as a frozen lake in winter. "I don't see how that is any of your concern." She preached, stuffing the piece of chalk back into her pocket, seeing as she wouldn't need it now. Shame too, as that dragon looked like it needed a reason more than just his master telling him to shut the fuck up. She'd give Helios a reason to be speechless, with Claymore or Muddane being the two serpents who would do so. "But I suppose since you're so keen on sharing your story...." She trailed off. Her gaze turned back to the weirdo before her. Until the ticking noise, drowned out before by their chatter, resonated in her ears. ".....Damnit, I can't." She muttered, clenching her fists again. "Look, unless you plan on following me to the library, which might not be such a good idea, all things considered, I'll just have to catch up with you another time." She explained, the paranoia rising in her mind, screaming at her to just turn and walk away. Just turn and walk away. "The long and short of it though? I'm on the run. And the military would just love to find me right about now." She continued, turning elegantly on her heel as she pulled up her hood again, glancing around at the entry way, seeing the crowds just had to pick up, and cause her issues. ".....Alright fine, maybe I can't get out of this place just yet...." She grumbled, sauntering back to the dimensional hopping duo. "Fine then....I'll weave my tale to even you, so long as you don't preach it to anyone else." WC:515 TWC:1370 |

*so this girl was on the run from the military huh? thats why she was so certain that helios was made by the military but clearly she wanted to find anyway from telling him what has happened to her then when she figured out that crowds surrounded the streets leaving no escape route for her she decided to give in and talk Spectra layed against one of the alleyway walls ready to hear her story* "Dont worry I wont tell anyone there's no one worth telling this information to anyway and why risk putting a lady like you who probably hasn't done anything wrong in danger?" Reina nodded her head slowly then, confirming the conditions. "Good, cause I don't really feel like having to--" Her words fell dead in the air at hearing, for once, a person actually chime in about her potential innocence. The blonde did a double take at this, tilting her head before leaning her weight against the wall opposite of him. "...I....I've got to say, that is not something I hear so often." She started, brushing back her hood, showing off her dimly colored blonde hair, and piercing blue eyes. Bringing the crimson hood back over her head, she cleared her throat. "It started three years ago. I was a state alchemist for this world." She said, pulling out her pocket watch, and briefly flashing the symbol of the fuhrer to him. "The symbol is the symbol of the Amestrian Fuhrer, Fuhrer King Bradley." She sighed softly as she pushed her pocket watch back into her pocket. "My title was the Warping Terra Alchemist, due to my.....knack of manipulating the earth below us." She explained further, drawing out her piece of chalk, and kneeling down, drawing a perfect circle within seconds before mapping out various other shapes, squares, triangles, the like. "I was considered an expert. And among my peers, I had been the most....polite I suppose is the correct term. I made friends easily. Among them, was one Albert Hayden. A genius in the field of Chimera craft. A true prodigy in his time." She smiled warmly at the fond memory of the man. As she tilted her head back, enjoying the warmth of the sun on her skin briefly, before she turned cold once again. "It was a week before our exams. You see, in order to keep your title and the right to study Alchemy on the State's dime, you must submit your research for evaluation. I had already long since done mine, and submitted it. I was approved immediately; I could effectively continue my research for the state, and for myself." She proudly explained, nodding her head with a soft smile. "However, Albert was not so prepared....he had been slaving for months on the perfect combat Chimera. And unfortunately, his efforts were proving for not. As a last ditch effort, he enlisted me as a helper. Together we tried failed attempt, after failed attempt, trying to edge even the slightest bit closer to a suitable end result....but as time went on it was proving so straining. So taxing on us both." Reina clenched her fists tightly, her legs shaking with anger and sorrow as her memories played back in her mind. "Until night fell, and I found a note upon my desk. Surely, this helper of sorts only wanted what was best for the state, right? Surely so. When I told Albert of the news, of this...Catalyst, this miracle worker that would allow him to create what he wanted within the time span remaining, he jumped at the chance. He was desperate, I couldn't blame him. So I ventured out, searching for this fool's gold of an enhancer. And....upon finding it, and returning..." She grit her teeth then, shaking with anger. "All I was met with, was Albert's corpse. Laying there in his own blood. And the cages wide opened, as if someone had willingly let his research go to waste. Blood was everywhere, it was hard to tell whether it was his, a chimera's or some other poor idiot's blood. But one thing was for sure, the man I was helping would no longer come to need my aid.....no, in fact, I would come to wish for his." She squeezed her eyes shut then, as she crossed her arms over her chest, trying to keep herself calm, but having a difficult time. "I thought surely, someone would believe me. Instead, everyone accused me. Everyone, friends, acquaintances, even the higher ups." She explained bitterly, opening her crystal clear blue eyes, frozen over with anti-freeze as she glared to the wall opposite of her. "They all insisted it was me. They all insisted I had been the one to set everything into motion. I'd done it, it was me. I tried desperately to tell them I had been out on an emergency trip to gather supplies, but no one believed me. And the only one who would ever speak upon my behalf wouldn't be able to." She pressed her back further into the wall, tapping the bottom of her boot into it impatiently. "So they threw me into a prison cell. Unfortunately for them, they didn't know about the chalk I had hidden on my person when they did. To them, I was as mortal as they come. Sure, they stole my usual supplies, but they never knew of my hidden ones. In the dead of night, I waited. I planned for my escape. Why should I stay in a prison cell when I at least knew deep down I was innocent? What right did they have to lock me away? I spent three solid years of my life with them to be treated like some kind of monster...!" She snarled, her eyes widening in a rage as she dug her finger nails into her sleeved arms. "....So I summoned a friend....escaped...and I've been in hiding ever since." She finished her story, her eyes narrowing dangerously. ".....When I tried to come back, a year later, thinking things had died down....I was sorely mistaken. I was attacked by some crazed monster, capable of changing form. My saving grace was a pale woman instructing him to back off. That bigger matters were occurring. And so....I managed to escape that as well. But the real mystery....is what framed me? And why? What purpose could it serve?" She muttered, bitterly turning her gaze to the ground below. WC:957 TWC:2327 |

*Spectra layed against the wall listening to this girls story apparently she was an alchemist framed for the murder of her best friend causing her to be put in jail she then escaped jail and was on the run that explained why she was so reluctant to tell spectra her name and what she was doing because she didn't know him enough those military scum who did they think they were? how could the military be THAT stupid even for a planet like this he expected the military to be somewhat smart but it looked like that was wrong* "Would your problem be over if the military was simply....Destroyed?" wc: 110 twc: 686 Edited by Spectra Phantom, Jul 23 2015, 05:36 PM.

"It's not as simple as that." She explained, shaking her head. Reina's crystal clear gaze focused again, softening slightly. "Besides. I'd rather prove my innocence. As corrupt as they might be, to destroy them now would send this world into absolute mayhem. The people rely on the State, as do the State Alchemists. I'd hate to throw this place into any more chaos than it already is for myself. It's not equivalency for me to tear down a structure, however corrupt it may be, just for my own sense of revenge. I simply want to prove my innocence. But it seems...whoever framed me did a stand up job." She mused silently to herself, putting a finger to her lips as she thought on about the injustice she had faced. But also on how everyone, no matter how loyal she had originally perceived them to be, had all but abandoned that loyalty instantly. "Such a stand up job, that no matter what I said, no one would believe me. They all insisted that I was there, even the people I had mentioned that little emergency trip to, they all insisted. They were absolutely certain I was there the night of his death. " Her eyes narrowed once more to the ground as she thought on that. "And when word reached the Fuhrer, it was as though he didn't even consider what I had to say. My trial went so rigidly it was like playing a game of chess with the wall." WC:250 TWC:2577 |

"Hmm i see so you didn't get a fair trial huh?" *Spectra growled a bit* "Are all government so corrupt!? first the vexal government of king Zenoheld and his brat Prince Hydron are corrupt then this? they should pay for what they've done!" *Spectra sighed* "Someone was able to convince everyone that you weren't innocent? even your closest friends at the Military? how could they have done that? if they were your friends they wouldn't have betrayed you would they?" *Spectra said this assuming Reina actually had friends in the military* "Or are you earthlings just so quick to switch from friend to foe?" wc: 105 twc: 791 |
