Ware wa messiah nari! Hahahaha!

It had been an incredibly typical day for Izuru; wandering around a city, robbing the occasional person and evading the cops right afterwards, when he caught wind of a rather interesting phenomenon. Apparently, some cave or another had randomly opened up in a nearby desert, and apparently they had stumbled onto some kind of lab down there. To make matters sound more fun, there had even been something reminiscent of zombies down there, although those who were originally in the lab immediately wussed out the moment zombies became a factor. Izuru knew for a fact that there probably weren't any zombies down there, and, but, even then, the possibility was quite tantalizing to him. Even in the event there weren't any 'zombies' down there, it was a lab buried under a desert. There was bound to at least something down there, or else it wouldn't have been covered up. Or it could have been a normal lab that simply fell into disrepair because they did shit research, but, meh. Izuru felt like being an optimist today.

It was to that end that Izuru hijacked some guy's motorcycle and drove out there. It wasn't too far into the desert, probably for convenient access to the city in the past, and the motorcycle managed to hold up until Izuru had gotten out there. He put up the kick stand, which sunk a bit into the sand, as did Izuru when he was stepping around. He trudged through the sand a bit, fortunately not encountering quicksand like he had been worried about, and found the hole in the ground that had evidently opened up. From Izuru's expert analysis, he could only deduce that the sand had been gradually pouring into the bottom, until, finally, the sand that had been here couldn't sustain itself and just all fell down the crack. In other words, someone did a really shit job of burying the place.

The knotted rope the last bunch of idiots took to get down here hadn't been removed, thankfully, so Izuru merely maneuvered down the rope, occasionally slipping as a result of shit knots tied in the rope, but he was making fairly good progress when, suddenly, Izuru felt a snap in the rope as the entire thing dropped. Fortunately, Izuru hadn't been too far above the ground when it snapped, on top of the ground below him being sand, making a decent cushion for his fall, and so Izuru managed to be unscathed by the fall. From what Izuru could tell, the guys had just used a dead twig as a base, and that had apparently snapped under Izuru's weight. What a bunch of idiots, not using something sturdier. Had Izuru fallen from higher up, it would've actually done some damage, not taking into account the fact that Izuru was now a bit stuck down here, until he worked out another exit, which would more than probably require him to get someone's help. He wasn't too big on the idea.

That said, however, it did leave Izuru with one option: Checking out further inside, and stumbling across this 'lab' of sorts. As such, Izuru pressed on. The cave wasn't too dark, surprisingly, the hole Izuru entered from being big enough to provide its own fair share of light. As such, beyond the occasional tripping over something, Izuru made pretty solid progress through the cave, when he suddenly heard something that he interpreted as a bunch of sparks mixed with something that sounded like a growl of sorts. Izuru was originally taken aback, but he then realized that he didn't appear to be in any immediate danger. Even then, Izuru started to get the idea where the speculation of zombies had come from. While it sounded more like electric crackles than growls to Izuru, the mistake could easily be made.

After a little bit more pressing on, Izuru stumbled across a hole in the floor. It had rapidly been getting darker, so Izuru would have missed it, but the lab was still lit. If Izuru had to guess, the place had its own self-sustaining electricity, which was always nice. Izuru would have to try and steal some of the gear, along with anything else could manage to salvage. He performed a leap down the hole, rolling neatly as the minimize damage to himself, when, suddenly, a voice alien to Izuru entered his mind:

Is so...ne els... He...e?

Izuru could barely make the voice out, as a result of a rather large amount of static, similar to that of a radio's, once you were getting out of range. Izuru hadn't heard the voice until he had entered, and, as such, elected the origin of the voice was probably somewhere in the lab. He wasn't quite sure how the telepathy thing was working out, but he could figure it out once he found it. That said, however, Izuru hadn't even surveyed the area yet. There was nothing too spectacular about the area; if anything, the place as actually pretty eerie. It was just a deteriorating hallway, one leading to a dead end with a door into what appeared to be an office. Seeing that it didn't look to head any deeper into the place, Izuru elected to take the other way, which went around a turn and appeared to continue on.

Izuru had been rounding the corner, however, when the crackling electricity sound from earlier returned, far louder this time than it had been earlier. Even though Izuru figured it was some frayed wire or another sparking, Izuru was still unnerved enough to put a hand on the sheathe of his katana just in case things went south. He had taken a few more cautious steps forward, when, suddenly, he felt something grab hold of his ankle. Izuru looked down and noticed something that could be comparable to a robotic hand grabbing hold of his ankle, before suddenly pulling him down. Izuru let out a small yelp as he was yanked through the floor, making a decently sized hole as he was slammed into the floor of the level below, making Izuru rather dizzy.

In his dizzy state, however, he was still able to see what had grabbed him. It being right up in his face didn't help, either. It looked to be some kind of humanoid, sporadically covered in steel while any parts not covered in steel clearly exposed the wiring underneath it. Despite that, however, the thing was strong. It did manage to pull Izuru through the floor, after all. Izuru clicked the trigger on the side of his katana, ejecting the blade and aimed a slash at the wiring of the humanoid abomination. He blade flew out, Izuru caught it, angled it at the wires, and...

Nothing. The blade bounced off, having inflicted next to no damage. Aaah. Well, that's disappointing... The thing promptly veered around, throwing Izuru by his leg into a nearby wall, where he actually flew through the deteriorating wall, and slammed into the one behind it. Right. Well, that hurt like a bitch... Izuru grunted at himself, as he got back up on his feet. He took at look at the mechanical menace, and considered attacking it, but, based upon how much damage Izuru was able to inflict with his earlier attack, he'd make little to headway. As such, Izuru turned down the nearby hallway and decided to flee until he had a better idea of how to take this thing on.

He darted down the hallway to his right, taking a moment to look back behind him. Just as Izuru had been concerned about, it was giving chase. To be honest, Izuru hated the entire 'run away' tactic he had been forced to adapt, but, for now, he didn't think he had too many options. He rushed forward a bit, gaining a bit of distance - That metal body couldn't be easy to move around - When Izuru stumbled across two ways he could go: the right of left. Izuru couldn't stop for long, and had been prepared to just choose one of them, when the voice from earlier returned, with far more clarity:

Go right.

The voice was easily distinguishable, now. The static from earlier had all but disappeared, which meant Izuru was far closer than earlier. Izuru decided to follow its instructions and take the path to the right. As he dashed forward, Izuru noticed that he was no longer being pursued. He slowed himself down, and walked down the passageway. The lab had given way to a cave full of green crystals, which reflected the light from earlier, resulting in the crystals appearing to glow. It looked quite nice, and Izuru paused a moment to admire it before he decided he should keep going down. Finding the source of the voice would always be pretty nice.

As he wandered down, he decided he'd try to contact the voice from earlier. Izuru had never been an expert at projecting his thoughts or telepathy, but he figured it was worth a shot.

So, voice... Are you still there?
I never left. I've been watching your progress.
Huh. That's... Totally not creepy at all.

The voice let out a snort, as though amused, before Izuru decided he might as well try to solve his curiosities about the voice's identity.

So, by the way, what do you go by?
I'm known as Biometal Model Omega. Just refer to me as Model O. Or Omega. Whatever you prefer.
A Biometal, huh? What do you do?
Listen, kid. As much as I'd like to not be stuck down here, I need a host for me to exercise my abilities. Come find me.
I'd love to, but I'm not exactly sure where you are.
Just keep going down this path.

Izuru could feel that the Biometal, Omega, as he referred to himself, had closed his mind to Izuru. At least Izuru could be sure he wasn't going to suddenly get lost again. That'd be a challenge on a straight path. As such, Izuru trudged forward for roughly a minute, before he came across a giant metal door. It was completely busted and half-opened, and, as such, Izuru squeezed his way in and looked around. It looked... odd, to say the least.

From around Izuru, the room began to fluctuate in what it would appear as. At one moment, it would show the walls of the cave earlier, and the next, as though seemingly glitching, it would show a scene Izuru wasn't familiar with. It looked like everything around a clearing Izuru was in would be on fire, and there would be mounds of rubble on all sides of him. In the middle, Izuru would see some kind of cylinder, which was completely broken. From the inside, no less, based upon the metal leaning outwards. As Izuru walked towards the middle, as there wasn't much else here, he noticed some sort of floating rock in the middle. He approached it, and asked:

"So, am I to assume that you're Model O?"
"You'd guess correctly."
"I must admit... I'm not too impressed. I expected more than a rock, I suppose."

As Izuru made that last comment, Izuru would hear a banging on the door behind him. He turned around. It would appear the robot thing from earlier was trying to get in. Izuru didn't quite have anywhere to run this time, either, and drew his katana and held it in from of him. Model O floating over in front of Izuru.

"Oh, for fuck's sake. Merge with me and get this guy out of the way. He's been a thorn in my side for too long."

Izuru raised an eyebrow, but still let out a nod. "Right. How do we go about merging?" Model O let out an impatient huff. "Just grab me, and yell out 'Megamerge'. Simple, right?" Izuru gave a curt nod, and grabbed Model O... And then paused. "Do I really have to yell it?" "We are underground. No one will hear you." Izuru sighed. "Yeah... Whatever."

"MEGA-MERGE!" Izuru yelled out, as commanded by Model O. Model O would disappear from his hand, and a bright light would emit from him. As a result of the light, Izuru's clothes began to change to rather small degrees. His little overshirt turned crimson, along with his pants. Izuru paused for a moment. He didn't quite feel like himself for a moment. Erm... Omega?
Our personalities merged. You'll get used to it.

Izuru nodded a bit, when the thing finally broke the door and stepped in. Izuru let out a bit of a huff and charged at the thing, screaming bloody murder, despite his opponents complete and utter lack of blood, and aimed a slash at its arm, this time, unfortunately, being cut off the steel side of the thing. That said, even when hitting the armored side, he still managed to leave a rather deep impression on it, which gave him a glimmer of hope. The said, it's not like the thing was rendered in capable of action as a result of the slash, and aimed a sucker punch at Izuru's face. Izuru quickly ducked under the punch at high speeds, before aiming a rising slash at the bot. It connected... And promptly cut the thing clean in half. Izuru landed behind it, a grin on his face. That was awesome!
Ehh... You'll still need a bit of work before you're as good as I used to be, but you'll do.

From behind Izuru, however, a button beep would catch his attention. Izuru turned to face the dismantled bot behind him, when it suddenly and completely exploded. The explosion was massive; it destroyed the entire lab and the caves surrounding it. All that was left as a spherical impression in the ground.

From roughly the middle of the bowl of sand, a hand would emerge, and pull the rest of its body out. Izuru let out a grunt as he fell forward on the sand. What the hell was that...
It appears the thing was primed to self destruct. Who knew.

Izuru pulled himself off of the ground, and de-merged the two.

...Kid, I spied in your mind you're decent at electical stuff. I've got an idea in mind that make your day, if you're interested...
I'm listening.
