I'm requesting that you all remember me when you pray. I have been down since July of last year. I don't mean emotionally I mean physically down. One doc says it's fybromyalgia as near as he can tell, before it was supposed to be rheumatoid arthritis, all I know is I have a family to support and I spend my days in a recliner. I literally haven't been off of our property in a month. The pain gets to the point I can't take it at times and that's with the pain medication. It's just really aggravating and I've had enough. Thanks.

Brother,

If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know. I have been studying natural/alternative medicine for over 5 years now. There are things and ways we can get down to the root of your condition. There is hope, most of all in Jesus for healing!

Please PM me if you are ready to get going!! :) *i'm enthusiastic, can you tell??*

You are in our prayers!

Well, here goes to the best of my memory. I've had small pain here and there shooting to places like my shoulders and arms and things for years. It never troubled me to much until I worked a shut down in Kingston Tn, by the time I was done on that job I couldn't close my hands for quite a while nor reach my back pocket (started carrying my wallet in my front pocket after that). After that the pain seemed to come more often and my hands started swelling from time to time. No biggy, it would go away after a while.
Well, I stayed like that for a couple of years and then almost two years ago I took a job with my union closer to home in Moundsville WV. All was well for awhile(other than the fact I was climbing about 7 flights of steps several times a day). Then after about 6 months or so of being there I started having sharp pain in my hip and it didn't want to go away. Add to that I believe my shoulders started acting up, hands and when the temperature started dropping in the fall I would literally get so stiff I couldn't hardly move. In this same time period they did blood work and told me I was positive for RA and made an appointment with the rhuematologist. While waiting on the appointment to come my arm swelled up huge in my wrist and hand, went to a urgent care clinic and they took xrays and told me my arm was broke and sent me to an orthopedic surgeon in Morgantown. Lol, they said my arm wasn't broke, that the line they saw was either an old break or a line like I guess teenagers have sometimes (no, I'm not a teen ager, lol haven't been for a few years now).
Okay, now to the Ra doc, he says it's not Ra, didn't give me any explanation for anything other than my knees, he said they were rubbing?? but he didn't give me any ideas at all. I took a new doctor after we moved and he says it might be fibromyalgia. I've been on muscle relaxers and vicoden now for about 6 months. I sit in a recliner day in and day out because the pain is so bad I can't do anything.
One thing, in my blood work, at the one doctor my ra factor was up on one test two times and I have non specific inflammation(what ever that is!). If you have any ideas I would be grateful!

Brother Jason

Sounds like you may be disabled.

Have you considered filing for disability?
