Hello all, I was just informed that my M.I.L has been pretty much bed-bound the last 2 weeks. She wanted to know why I haven't been over!! Obviously I responded "I didn't know", which I didn't. My wife has some splain'n to do!!! My M.I.L has been baptized in Jesus name and has the H.G. but goes to a baptist church because of husband. I heard she has not been going there even before this illness. She is no longer confident in the I.C. system I'm sure. She has lupus but I'm not sure if this illness is related. So much thanks for prayers in her direction. She is very out going and would love to talk to anyone that would like to call her to see how she is doing. She would eat that up!! Pray for her health and P.M. me for her phone # if interested. Thanks so much!!! |

I'm headed over there tomorrow with some yellow split pea soup. I'm not one to go around visiting relatives is why I wouldn't have stumbled across her situation. She has gone through a lot here lately with illness and family problems. Time to stand and fill the gap. Most men I think have to be hit on the head with a 12" iron skillet at times to see clearly. Especially when it comes to physical and emotional needs. I'm guilty as charged. |

Admittance is the first step to remittance, brother! I say that somewhat jokingly, but it takes a lot to admit a fault or lack. Your humblesness is encouraging and a good reminder to me today of how humility is truly a key to wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Now, can I borrow that 12" iron skillet? :roflkicker: Soup is so warming to the soul. I love making soup. If I lived near there, I'd love to bring the kids over to her house and sit down and share a cup or two! Please give her our well wishes and let us know how she is doing. PM me her address and we'll send something :) |

She's doing better-- even with lupus, sleep apnia with machine hook up, high blood pressuure, dizziness from medication, and unresponsive family members. I told her she is on the prayer request board and she was happy about that. No sisteracts, no iron skillet for you---kick boxing and iron skillets could cause a problem!!! Thanks everyone. |
