Those of you that I have known for a while, know that we discovered about a year and a half ago that my daughter has scoliosis. We went in to the Dr, and they had made this rush of getting her into a brace as soon as possible, and things had looked very bad and kind of scary. We were concerned that there would be a need for surgery. Well, after a year and a half of her so gracefully tolerating that horrible brace, the brace came off for good on Friday. And even better, the doctor said there is no need whatsoever for her to have surgery. Her shoulders are straight, her hips are straight, and you can't even tell by just looking at her. Praise God! That is what we wanted to hear! This was truly an answered prayer! I just wanted to thank everyone who was praying for her. I have learned so much about this in the last year and a half. Amazingly with all the science out there, they still don't know what even causes it. They used to think it was genetic, now they don't have any idea. Hehe, I guess they don't have all the answers, do they? :P |
