Hello All, Just wanted to tell you all what a great time we had here on Sunday. The Conyers folks were here, as well as some other good friends. I think 40+ in all. We just sat around, talked about our great God, and had real fellowship with each other. The kids talked and played and ran around. Its not the normal "church" service we were raised to think of, but, at least for me & my house, true edification and exhortation. Lets hope that everyone who came can make it to Kentucky! Peace y'all- Lorne & Family  |

Praise God for his goodness, mercy and patience toward us! It seems like we heard over and over.... "its all about relationship, relationship, relationship" ....but so often relationship was experienced primarily in the singular sense --you and the guy with the microphone. The necessary occassions to grow in the lifestyle where we "show ourselves friendly" was rarely a part of our assembly. We are all benefitted when we have 'safehouses' where we can practice (exercise) this skill of interaction. IMO, one of the best things that could be said of anyone is "he is easily approachable"....Dear Lord, let this be said of me. The edification we receive is supplied across the "connecting joints" God has provided in his fitly (compacted) design of his own body. God's blessings are available everywhere, but we need to nurture/foster prosperous relationships, because these are where we will most often find them. |
