I do have requests to ask of the prayer warriors. The world has been attacking the faith of some of our children and parading the prosperity of the wicked in front of their eyes in a manner that has caused a couple of them to wish for better finances and covet the playgrounds of the rich so to speak. Please ask God to protect my family, my children, and everyone's salvation. Please ask God to give us victory in this situation and to bind away the temptors as well as the temptations. Thank you. |

The cares of this life can choke out our desire to live godly lives if we are not careful. I'm reminded of the parable of the sower who sowed his seeds among ground which was fertile and the seed grew at first. However, the weeds grew and choked out the good crop. We need to make sure that the perceived greener pastures and the baubles of this world which flash and sparkle are not allowed to catch our eyes and lead us away from the narrow path of righteousness. Children are especially vulnerable to these kinds of temptations. They do not have the wisdom which comes only after years of living which tells us that "all is vanity." Nothing matters except making sure that our souls are saved. Everything else is empty vanities. We will pray with you! |
