I am so sad - please pray for this family

Some of you know about my old IC that I was a part of, and that there is a new "pastor" who I think is spiritually abusive. Well, I just got a phone call, and one of the kindest families that were in that church has been kicked out.

This new pastor is a dictator. I could go on for days about what he is doing, but suffice it to say he is a control freak and NO ONE is allowed to disagree with him on anything.

One of the young ladies was "sat down" because he wanted her to teach something to the kids in Sunday school that she believed was wrong and wouldn't teach it. So she was removed from the music team and everything. Now he has kicked out the ENTIRE multi-generational family because he needs to "remove the foundational families" so he can do what he wants. He actually said that.

Please pray for the Locust family. This is such a huge abomination, I can't even begin to tell you.

Pray that God gives them a revelation, and that they are able to go on serving Him, understanding their true value and calling. That a building is not the end game.

I am so hurt for them.

Yes, sad. I certainly will pray for them, but just think, this may end up being one of the best things that has every happened to them for quite a few reasons !

Definitly praying for the Locust family.
We were in a situation likely just as bad as that for 17 years!

I am relieved to know that they are taking this in stride. Interestingly, God told one of the family several years ago that this was going to happen. It was not a surprise.

I pray for the rest of the people that are there, those that have "pledged allegience" to this man, and stand with him no matter the number of scriptures he tramples.
