I've been playtesting a couple decks and run into some questions. I hope one or all can clarify. Wolverine - The best at what he does Text: Whenever Wolverine becomes stunned, recover him at the start of the recovery phase this turn. Question: 2 characters are stunned. Does this mean that Wolvie recovers and then you recover your one character per turn or is it he MUST be the one to recover. Next question Mattie Franklin - Reserve Webhead Text: Pay 2 ATK this turn -> Exhaust target visible character. Use only if Mattie Franklin is attacking and only once per turn. Question: She declares an attack against a character A. It becomes legal. She pays 2 attack and targets character B who she is not in combat with. Is this legal? |

Wolverine recovers because of his text, which breaks the game rules, and then you follow the game rules and recover another stunned character. I am sure there is a more technical and rulesy way of answering that question but there you go. Question two. Yes. |

Not exactly, Stars. The "At the start of the Recovery Phase" is a power that triggers at the start of, well, the Recovery Phase. There is technically an entire phase of gameplay prior to recovering that one character in recovery. It works like this... Start of the Recovery Phase (at this point, any powers that trigger at the start go on the chain and resolve) Priorty in the Recovery Phase, starting with player with Inititative (Consecutive passes by all players moves us along) Wrap-Up (No one has priority. Everything happens at the same time for both players in the following order) Endurance Check Recover a single stun character KO all stunned characters Then it all starts all over again with the draw phase. |

Basically, Wolverine recovers at the START of the recovery phase. Then, You recover your 1 character normally at the wrap-up step, or end of the recovery phase. |

correct. It sounds confusing but the reason he explained it that way is , when you recover wolvie from his text you dont immediatly get to recover your other stunned charecter .You must wait for the proper phase of recovery in case your opponent has a way to stun him again which then would force you to choose which charecter to recover. Its not likely but it is possible with plot twists or triggered effects. |
