Booyah! Yes...yes...it seems that Mr. Quigonjon has been moonlighting as a solver of riddles lately...and yes...he has solved the riddle. Meet the very first Rescue Team Captain: Quigonjon But it's not over folks...there are still four spots open...and you may be one of the lucky to follow your new captain into the Asylum...so stay tuned, and keep your eyes open as the 4th and 5th spots and how to win them will be revealed! Personality Disorder Posts: 90 Group: Arkham Inmate Member #8 Joined: January 10, 2008	The way I understand the term "manipulate," that would mean that the effects from Madness cards can't be negated or messed with by the rescue team, but any Ongoing Madness cards could still be targeted by Have a Blast type cards or Batman, Founding Member. (Which would be kind of fitting- he is Batman. Unless he gets Locked Down- MUHAHAHA! [You know he would look great in one of those cute jackets where you get to hug yourself all the time. It would be good for poor Bruce- not getting enough love in his childhood and all that.]).

And you certainly not change the target generated from a madness card.

You know, your opponent names a plot twist and cannot play plot twists with different names during the combat phase. Also Lasso of Truth?

But I am only going to partially answer the question. It always comes back to Wonder Woman doesn't it? For the most part...you are correct. If it is an effect introduced by an opponent...for the most part the Madness card cannot be effected. But that is not entirely true either. Does your brain hurt yet? Feelin' a little crazy are you? Madness, being a version much like Epic, falls under its' own set of rules within VS. Manipulated is a new word when dealing with VS. cards, but...well, I don't want to give it all away yet. Let's just say that, like Madness itself, even Madness cards have a way of falling outside the rules. Not to worry, the FAQ will explain all. But by all means...please, keep the speculations going. We haven't had this much activity in a while.
