Requirements to apply
1. It is a requirement for you to have passed the Bar
1. You can still apply and be accepted onto the program based on the expectation you
pass the bar exam.
2. Be able to complete a competency based test (application)
3. Pass a criminal background check( 2months cool down period)
4 . Previous Law experience is an advantage
5. Age of 18 or over (exemptions can be made but if you are accepted onto the program you
will be considered on extended probation)
6. If you are Law Enforcement; you will be required to resign. Law enforcement is not
preferred
7. If you are EMS; you will be required to resign.
8. You can only apply a maximum of 2 times

Program Process of Acceptance
1.You must complete an application template and a competency based test. Due to this
being a test all candidates should PM their application to me. Successful applicant should
demonstrate Critical thinking, impartial reasoning, decision-making and communication.
2. Successful candidates will be invited to an interview. Again as above successful
candidates should demonstrate Critical thinking, impartial reasoning, decision-making and
communication.
3. Successful candidates will then be invited to training. Training will consist of;
1. 1 week shadowing a judge
1. 1 week being shadowed by a judge
1. 1 week probation – reduced judicial powers
1. Training times will vary due to ability. However probation will remain the same for
every candidate.
2. To pass probation you must demonstrate the required qualities and abilities
expected of a judge
4. Graduation
1. If you fail any section of the training you will be placed on an extended probation.
2. If you fail extended probation you have failed the application process
3. If you pass the application process you will become a Judge of Lakeside Valley.

Application Template
There is no minimum word count. You are expected to know how much you are required to write. Candidates may right in length while other may write less depending on their structure and writing ability.

He gives his word that the man accused had the firearm. Sadly the man on trial does not have a lawyer and is not very competent at defending himself. It is time for you to make your judgement.

I am preparing for the MPRE’s at the moment and I wanted to ask if you have any suggestions for that? I have been preparing with my study material and MPRE Practice Questions and I just wanted to know if there are any courses that I can take for this?
