Fall has recently set in, the weather unsure of what it wishes to be. Some days continue to be hot and dry while others see storm clouds and rainfall.
Savish have begun working on a fortification at the northern edge of Myath forest, seeking to build it as a forward camp in anticipation of an attack on Stone Haven.

Appearance
Hair: Violet/Black messy hair that reaches slightly past her shoulders. Eyes: Sapphire blue Skin: Tanned and smooth, with the exception of a few scars on her arms and legs. Height: 5'7" Build: Athletic
Ayelen has a rather exotic look due to her mixed lineage. She’s also rather rustic looking; she doesn’t wear makeup and her clothes are not what you would call ‘fancy’ (though she does have a few fancy garments for special occasions). She is typically seen in comfortable clothing (either loose or form fitting) for agile and nimble movement. Her face and hands are usually a bit dirty seeing as she’s always outdoors and living off the land (though she does bathe of course). She’s fairly tall for a woman, at around 5’7” and weighing around 130lbs. She’s very fit and rather toned, having very few health issues. Her hair is rather wild, though when she’s out hunting, she makes sure to keep it tied as she wouldn’t want it to get in the way.
Characteristics
Out in the wilds and on the road, Ayelen is a very confident and strong woman having no problems taking care of herself. She doesn’t let people get the better of her and if they try, she will show them a thing or two. She speaks her mind and can on occasion be a bit hot-headed, particularly with strangers. She is also known to bicker with her sisters from time to time (about anything really), but despite that, she does love them very much. At times though, she is rather envious of her sisters, being the only one who is unable to perform magic or conjure up potions or spells (though she is decent at making remedies). Despite her seemingly free spirit, Ayelen is rather obedient to her mother Powaqa, and rarely ever argues with her. Even when she does, she becomes very quiet and humble after a short amount of time. There's just no going up against Mommy, especially when she's not in a good mood.
Ayelen is what modern day people would call a bit of a tomboy. She has no problems getting her hands dirty and doesn't typically take her appearance into account. She goes for what's the most practical instead of what is the most aesthetic (with the exception of music). It's not that she doesn't appreciate beauty; she does. It's just that she doesn't trouble herself with looking like the high sirs and ladies of the the upper class.
Even though she is rather isolated from civilization much of the time, she does have a fondness for such things and dancing and music. Ayelen loves to get together with her sisters during the evenings and just dance and sing songs and play her gemshorn. She will often sneak into town in order to get new songs for them to play and practice. With the exception of the town she occasionally visits, Ayelen is a bit uncomfortable in foreign cities. She's not exactly sure how things work and can easily be taken advantage of (unless she fights back of course). She may be knowledgeable in some aspects, but very sheltered in others.
The other thing that Ayelen loves the most is just being out in the wilds, taking up nature. She can often be seen riding her elk through the forests of Silver Wood, looking for herbs, plants and berries. She also loves to hunt and fish, using a variety of methods to catch her prey ranging from archery, falconry, and traps. Needless say, with all that hunting and gathering, she's also quite the cook and often likes to experiment, most of the time being rather successful (though she has been know to create a few disasters).
Because of her upbringing, Ayelen is a bit indifferent about what happens in the world outside her home, even with the Savish conquering all. She doesn't quite see this as a good or bad thing. As long as they don't interfere with her, she is fine. It is also a bit difficult to know where Ayelen falls when it comes the darker magic of Blood and Necromancy. It is quite clear she knows about them and what they do, but she has never actually condoned it. They have yet to harm her, therefore she feels she has no need to fear it. Even if they did, she'd probably more than likely blame the person than the actual practice itself. She believes in the deities, but she doesn't 'worship' them persay; she does on occasion give an offering to them when feels that she needs a bit of luck on her side. But you won't see Ayelen go to the temples everyday and give herself up as a priestess. She already has other plans.

History
Once upon a time, there was a small town in the valley known as Orcaus. It was a very poor town, with very little to offer. Their livestock and crops were dying, the houses were falling apart and it almost seemed as though there were was no hope for anyone. The townspeople were desperate for a miracle to happen, but none seemed to show up. Two familes, the Meriels and the Acudans decided to leave the town in search of some sort of aid. They were turned away from all except one woman named Powaqa. Well actually, Powaqa a witch really. She agreed to give them all the riches in the world and aid for 5 years. That would give them all enough time to learn how to care for animals, the land, and buildings. Once the five years was up, they'd have to return to their lives before, but with the tools they were given to start life anew. They agreed.
With that, the town flourished overnight. The food was plentiful, the buildings were amazing, and children lived past birth and everything just seemed perfect. However, because they had the luxuries of life, they quickly forgot about having to work at it and learn the things that they should know. It quickly became a thing of the past. The Meriels gave birth to twin daughters, Ayelen and Kachina. Kachina was rather special as she was born with the gift of magic. The Acudens also gave birth to a healthy daughter as well who also possessed the ability to use magic as well. Life was truly wonderful.
Once the five years passed, Powaqa returned to the two families, ready to bring their lives back the way it was when they met. They begged her not to take it all away. Thus, she gave them another decision. They may continue leading their lives the same way they have been, but both families must give away one of their daughters. Particularly, the ones who knew magic. Because they were so used to their wonderful lifestyle and they didn't want to let the town down, the choice was very easy for them. Thus, the Acudens gave away their daughter, as did the Meriels. However, instead of letting their daughter Kachina go, they switched places and gave away their daughter Ayelen instead. So, at the age of 4, Ayelen had left her family to live in the Myath Forest.
It wasn't until Powaqa had returned to her home in the fortune that she realized she had been tricked. Although she was furious at the beginning, she decided not to return for Kachina and instead, raised Ayelen just as her other daughters. It was very difficult at first, as Ayelen had no idea how to conjure or use and elemental spells. No matter how hard she tried, Ayelen couldn't do anything involving magic. Ashamed of herself, she tried to make herself practical in other ways. Around the age of 9, whilst the other sisters practised their magic, Ayelen learned to hunt and provide food for them all, quickly becoming adept in woodsmen skills. She lived rather quiet and peaceful with her new family, only going into the nearby town of Yova when Powaqa required supplies.
Things slowly started to change when Ayelen turned 15. Upon one of her daily explorations, Ayelen came upon an ancient, enchanted bow. Instead of it being incredibly problematic to use, she was able to wield the weapon with ease. It was then that Powaqa realized that Ayelen actually had a certain gift that had went unnoticed after all these years. And now, it was time to sharpen these talents of her daughter. She would have her study ancient text and relics, send her out to ruins for exploration and dabble in other such things. It was unclear as to what Powaqa's motives were, but Ayelen listened to her no matter what plan she was scheming.
Now 18, Ayelen is often sent outside of the forest to hunt down various forgotten items of this world. As for why, Ayelen isn't quite sure herself.
Battle
Weaponry: Bow of Flyte: Flyte is a bow enchanted with the magic of wind. It is said to be an ancient bow of the nymphs from the ancient times. It seems to be crafted from an unknown, ancient white tree, decorated with gold trimmings and an elaborate carving of nymphs and fairies and the forgotten language. It seems to be strung with the hair of a mystical creature. Any arrow that touches the bow will have the same properties. (Design pic)
Hunting Knife: A large knife used for hunting and stabbing stuff. Not much more to it. (My Pic)
She of course, has many other articles of clothing, but this would be her main battle armour
Type of Magic and Years of Experience/Study
Relic Study- 5 years. As stated before, Ayelen does not have any particular mage or witch talents like her mother and siblings, which is one thing she's rather embarrassed about. However, one thing that she is capable of doing is deciphering and wielding enchanted weapons and artefacts as well as ancient runes and relics. She studies this under her mother, studying up on the old ways and the dead languages. Obviously, not even artefact she comes across is easy for her to handle or wield, but she does have a better time with it than others who just pick it up.
Special Attack(s):
Gust of Wind: When Ayelen fires her arrow, a whirlwind of about 7ft appears reading to sweep anyone off their feet. She has also never seen the sea, and has a secret desire to visit it someday.
Pinning Shot: Ayelen's arrow separates into five different arrows, ready to strike the opponent or pin them down.
Additional Despite all being a part of the same family, Powaqa has given her daughters different last names in order to better suit their personalities and skills. Hence the reason that Ayelen's last name was changed to Ionhar (archer).
Ayelen does not handle alcohol well. Give her one ale and she'll be slurring pretty badly.
