I. Formand

(1) A new session shall begin after the conclusion of a general election, and all seats in the Folketing up for election in that general election are filled.

(2) Nominations for Formad may be open immediatly after the conclusion of a general election. Nominations shall last no longer than 48 hours and voting shall last no longer than 24 hours or until all Folketing members have voted. If there is only one candidate the sole candidate shall be declared the Formand without need for a vote.

(3) The Formand may be removed by the Folketing by a simple majority, after which new elections for Formad shall take place.

(4) The Formand may appoint a deputy to act in their place should they be absent or otherwise unable to fufill their duties. Should the Formand be inactive and not have appointed a deputy the Folketing may elect a deputy in the same manner as the Formand is elected, except that the nomination period shall be 24 hours.

(5) Should the Formand be absent for more than 5 days without prior notice they shall be immediatly removed from their position as Formand and nominations for Formand shall open as if a general election had just concluded.

II. Procedures

(1) Any motion in the Folketing shall require the support of a second member of the Folketing other than the one proposing the motion.

(2) Votes in the Folketing shall be opened for 24 hours. Should all Folketing members have voted before the voting period has ended the vote shall be considered closed. Any member of the Folketing may call for a motion to delay voting before or during the vote. Should the motion be carried then a further 24 hours discussion period shall be had before voting can procede again. A motion to delay the vote cannot be called a second time on the same legislation during the same session.

(3) Any member of the Folketing may motion to invite citizens or ambassadors to speak in the Folketing when relevant. Speaking rights are also extended to Konge and to the Statsminister, though they may be revoked by the Formad should the Konge or Statsminister be abusing such rights by being disruptive or speaking on issues not of immediate relevance to their office. Folketing members always have the right to speak in the Folketing and any removal of said rights will imply the loss of their seat in the Folketing.

(4) Any changes made to a bill being discussed may be made with the implied consent of the majority of the members of the Folketing. Though several versions of the bill may be discussed in the Folketing at the same time only one shall be sent to vote.
