Posts: 116 Group: Valued Members Member #31 Joined: Feb 11, 2016 Nation: Morheim	THE MORHEIM FREE TRADE ZONE Based at the former military airfield of Skegby a 10km square zone has been established, this also includes the soon to be constructed port of Queens Port, capable of handling all sizes of transport vessel. This zone shall be called the MFT or Morheim Free Trade Zone, a special economic area allowing nations to gain generous incentives for investment in Morheim. What does MFT offer? 1. Any company may establish a branch in the MFT so long as they meet the following criteria a) They comply with all local health and safety laws. b) They comply with all local import laws. c) They employ more than 500 Morheimians. d) They have not previously been excluded from MFT or Morheim. 2. Companies of any nationality in Morheim pay Corporation Tax at 15% based on profits. Companies investing in MFT receive a significant decrease in these rates in line with number of people from Morheim employed. Less than 549 people you pay 12.5% Between 550 - 849 people you pay 11% Between 850- 1000 people you pay 9.5% Between 1001 - 1249 people you pay 8% More than 1250 people you pay 7.8% 3. No import duty shall be paid on products that are "Finished off" in Morheim. This means at least 20% of the manufacturing process takes place in Morheim. 4. No import /export duty on products or materials if 75% of products are then exported. 5. Large prefabricated facilities for conversion into factories, offices, warehouses and other facilities, each equipped with solar panels reducing energy costs. 6. Access just 40 minutes drive away from the edge of Queenstown, a city with 4million inhabitants and a gateway to a market with 285million potential customers. 7. No tax//duty on transfers of profits back to home nation. What should I do if I want to set up there? Currently we have facilities for twenty companies. Any company wishing to establish a branch there is asked to fill in the attached application, a member of our staff will contact you shortly after to either approve your application or ask a representative to answer a few questions. Best Regards Laci Bancroft CEO of MFT To:- Ritra Transport Queens Port will be fully operational in two weeks, a grand opening will be held on the 27th March 2016, to which all companies in MFT Zone will of course be invited. This port will be able to handle the largest cargo ships currently in use as we envisage it being an important trade port for the Northern Hemisphere. The MFT Zone was established with export and import as a key part of its design, as such it is possible to use the zone as a gateway to any onward trade areas one could want to reach from Morheim as it is well supplied with road, rail and air links and once the port opens superb naval facilities.
