 The Republic of Berila
Government
The Constitution of Berila defines it as a federal presidential representative democratic Republic, where the President is both Head of State and Head of Government. Legislative power is exercised by the National Assembly. The Judiciary is independent of the Executive and the Legislature and it's maximum power is held by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Berila (SCRB). Presidential elections are held every four years and legislative elections every two. Justices are appointed by the President and approved by the Assembly. Economy
Manufacturing is the largest single sector in the nation's economy. Based on food processing and textiles during its early development in the first half of the 20th century, industrial production has become highly diversified in Berila. Leading sectors by production value are: Food processing and beverages; refinery products; steel and aluminium; industrial and farm machinery; chemicals and pharmaceuticals; electronics and home appliances; motor vehicles and auto parts. |
