Hey, Brulee...
So, we've got a bit of a problem now.

Ah, here we go. It's time for this canary to sing. I won't pretend I don't deserve this eviction. Particularly after I've been a jerk to you. Although I didn't see Bellamy vitoing Octopako coming. Well, anyway, I feel you deserve the courtesy of a proper explanation for my weird actions the last two cycles. Least I can do after being an Culo to you as I was. And now that I'm not in a position where it matters any more, I'll explain everything properly. Suffice it to say, there has been a lot of deception this game. Forgive me, it's 3:33 am in my time, so I need to sleep, I can explain everything properly tomorrow. This would be a LOT easier if PMs were being stored, instead of deleted each cycle. Well, short version is I was actually serious about allying with you back in Stussys time. I did want to take her down. Second thing, I was also serious about not being that close to Octopako and wanting you to save Ryuu. Ryuu and I have been in cahoots since the very first cycle. In fact, he knew very well I was aiming to evict Stussy, although he disagreed with it, but still he kept quiet so as to keep face with Stussys allies. I too agreed to cover up that he knew. Our dynamic was interesting. I'd attac, he'd protec, as they say. I relied on him to retain ties to more influential players and steer them towards other targets, while I'd go and try to push out the threats to our team. So why did I turn on you after that? Well, my main ally was Ryuu. And he was allying with Mansherry. Originally I had viewed a team up with you to have the goal of taking down Mansherry and Ichiji (who I thought were Stussys supporters). Then there'd be Bellamy and Octopako and Brule and Gaimon to take out. So everything is going good, we've taken out Stussy and Ichiji... Then I find out Ryuu has gotten really good with Mansherry. I realize I need to jump on board that team up. So I do. Then I see you, with ties to me & Octopako , Brule & Gaimon, and possibly Mansherry. And the fact that you have that prize which everyone assumes is a diamond PoV. So I start thinking I'm not very valuable in this alliance. There's nobody to fight against. Meanwhile, Ryuu has Bellamy and Mansherry. My goal is to get to Final 2 with Ryuu. And that seems not very feasible by teaming up with you. Also, being HoH, I needed people to nominate. Originally, it would have been Mansherey, but... Now I can't do that, because of me her and Ryuu allying. You'd just spared me and Octopako and turned votes away from Bellamy and Ryuu because I'd asked you. So I knew that you wouldn't be happy when I nominated Brule. You'd ask why I didn't nominate Bellamy and Mansherry. Who's connection to me I was attempting to keep hidden. So I realized, if I'm sticking with Mansherey and Ryuu, there's no way around it. I'd have to nominate your guys. And that'd not end well between us. So I go ahead and put you on the block as my second nomination. The way I see it, I won't be able to work with you anymore. And without me working with you, you're the biggest threat on the field to me. Also I know you have an item, I'm hoping to force you to play it. Only then I see the PoV and realize you're going to win it anyway. So I don't even bother and think it's OK as long as one of your teammates is out, it'll be enough. Of course, I don't bother talking to you because I don't feel there's a purpose in spouting off lies and more lies, that'll end up not being believed anyway. You win next HoH, much to my chagrin (half the players didn't even try ) but I still don't care too much, because I have the power of misinformation. Whoever you nominate alongside me will be the one out, I think. I made that "you got me" face when you'd asked why I never talked to you, because, hey, you got me, I didn't talk to you exactly for the reason you said I didn't. Then comes the PoV challenge. Well actually before that, Ryuu is attempting to save me from the block. Me, Mansherry, and Ryuu have already committed to a final 3 alliance, with you as the biggest obstacle. So Mansherry goes and tells you that Octopako is my biggest ally, even though I'd actually never made any Finals offer to her (I assume it's more believable because she and I had collaborated against Stussy, while we had to go "against Ryuu" to do that.) Mansherey and Ryuu then go and try to distance themselves from me (Ryuu and I kind of used the Stussy thing to our advantage to downplay our connection). The idea was for both of them to be double agents kind of, so that we'd be able to take you by surprise afterwards. And of course, I'm sure they wanted a good connection with you because they were planning to use you as a fallback in case things went sour. I suggest to Bellamy that we rig the PoV in his favor. Part of this is that I don't fully trust Masheery and I feel that she'd rather have me out of the way before the end, and may use this opportunity to vote me out. After all, I would need the votes of Bellamy, Mansheery, and Ryuu to survive. However I know for a fact she wouldn't vote against Ryuu. Ryuu and Mansherry are prepared to dump Bellamy if needs be. I'd rather have him than Mansherey. I hope to take advantage of the challenge and gain Bellamys support. So I reach out to him and rig it for him, so he'd save me, and we'd both be free, and then you'd nom Ryu and we'd vote Octopako and all 4 of us would be safe. Well that didn't go as planned, as you see. But anyway, I feel you should know, as I think your are the target of the most lies, which I am partly to blame for.. none of these guys are being honest with you. At best, they're keeping one foot in each door. But, more likely, they're waiting for you to lose a PoV and bam, watch the votes come. If I had yesterday's conversations (which we did in the Ballroom) I could show you clearer. I know, for instance, you showed Ryuu my Simpsons response to your question. And that you said I was eager to work with you on cycles 3 and 4 but then you took my silence in the next two cycles as me primary targeting you. I do have this: Moriah + Bellamy PMs - Bellamy

Sorry for absence.
I was speaking to Oars a little last cycle, and I've gotten on pretty good terms with him if my getting a flintlock first means anything. I'll work hard to help get you off the block, mate!

Thanks man, really appreciate it.
However... I wonder if it is actually in your best interest to do so. Say I win PoV and save myself, who do you think Oars will nominate? Not Brule. It'd be down to you, Mansherry, and Ryuunoske. Although whoever it is, Octopako would be his preferred target.
Mansherry is on good terms with Ryuu. Oars is trying to cozy up to Mansherry currently. I think that factored into his decision to nominate Octopako rather than our pal Ryuunsoke.
I don't know how good you are with Oars, but I believe that if it comes to pick a replacement, it'd be between you and Ryuu.
What I'm aiming for is me, you, and Ryuu to all survive this round. Me on the block, I have faith in you and Ryuu to not vote against me. Brule obviously will. Mansherry I'm less sure about. Ryuu says she said she won't, but again, if she wants to pair up with Oars, helping him out here would be ideal. I am confident she wouldn't vote against Ryuu, but I don't have the same confidence if it comes to me or you on the block.
So anyway, with all this in mind, I feel the ideal scenario is you winning PoV and using it on me. That's the only way we can assure the two of us are safe from the block and eviction.
In that case, he'd have to pick between Ryuu and Mansherey. However, the difference would be in that case he would push Brule towards Octopako (whereas with me, I'm obviously his preferred target). Whoever isn't picked from those two (Mansherry/Ryuu) would also vote Octopako. And then, doesn't even matter what we do, even if we were to both vote the replacement nominee (which we wouldn't if it was Ryuu) because 2 votes = tie which HoH Oars would break.
So long story short, I think the best thing is for you to win this, and since we're allowed to discuss, if you agree, let's do our best to rig this in our favor.

If the goal is to have me win, then we can guarantee 1000 berries if you steal that amount from me and I use both of my bodyguards on you.
If I steal about 400 from three other people who aren't your targets other than me, then I'm sitting on potentially 2200.

What if everyone you attack is guarding against you, and the bodyguards take more than 1000 from you?
Like a normal theft, the bodyguard(s) who take the most amount of money will have their theft nullified
And there's the kicker.
- Bellamy
- Sep 27 2017, 07:13 PM
If you only steal from me, and for 1000, then it'd work and I'd certainly get the money. Problem is that it puts you in a bad position if I don't succeed.
- Gekko Moriah
- Sep 27 2017, 07:20 PM
Another problem is that it leaves you open to be robbed, and other players not being robbed by me means they keep more cash.
I'm still thinking over all the options, but I may go with plan.
The main thing we want to prevent is Octopako winning. Preferably I can be saved, but I still have a good shot to survive against her.

Never mind that fake post in the main Challenge thread, that's just me being me
- Gekko Moriah
- Sep 27 2017, 08:11 PM
The best thing that could happen is for everyone to double body guard me in attempt to force me to lose... Only for it to be pointless. Even trying to rob me wouldn't work. But that'd be waaay too convenient to actually happen.
- Bellamy

If Mansherry is indeed in talks with Oars, then that may be possible, though it's unlikely.
Oars likely wouldn't be using the PoV if he gets it, and Brulee would follow suit. Octopako and possibly Mansherry would use it on Octo. That makes everything have a 1/3 chance to happen: you veto, no veto, Octo veto.
Even with the ability to plan in this challenge, it still seems like a huge guessing game.
- Bellamy
- Sep 27 2017, 08:33 PM
I'm 'making a plan' with Oars for this competition. Just letting you know in case this somehow leaks to you. He invited me to the HoH room today.
He doesn't want to use the PoV, it seems, and he's actively working towards a 'you' eviction.
- Gekko Moriah
- Sep 27 2017, 10:28 PM
I assumed as much. Hear anything from/about Mansherry?
Also, do you know if anyone is planning to steal from me?
- Bellamy
- Sep 27 2017, 10:39 PM
Oars hasn't said anything about stealing from you, but he's trying to double guard against you. Makes me think that he's telling the same to anybody else who he's speaking to.
Mansherry wants you gone more than Octopako, but mainly because you're more of a threat. Oars is a much bigger threat, though. I've been speaking with her casually.
- Gekko Moriah
- Sep 27 2017, 10:51 PM
Ok then, i think this is the best thing.
You double guard me, I attempt to rob 1000 from you. I don't steal from anyone else.
You go nuts and steal a good amount from three people who you'd think would double block me. Basically any 3 of the remaining 4.
I wish I could get on touch with Mansherry, curious about what she'd have to say, but she's conveniently offline now
- Gekko Moriah
- Sep 27 2017, 11:40 PM
Ryuu is hamming it up with Oars right now, he's not actually trying to get me out. Even getting Oxtopako on the block was a trick, Oars was told that she was my main ally rather than Ryuu (and I think he believed it, because the one cycle I did try to work with him [to evict Stussy], I actually did tiptoe around Ryuu that cycle, whereas I had the full support of Octopako because we both wanted Stussy out after she took out Tiger)
- Bellamy
- Sep 27 2017, 11:58 PM
He mentioned your big ally being Octopako, so he still thinks along those lines somewhat.
I've submitted the challenge. Good luck with it!
- Gekko Moriah
- Sep 28 2017, 12:01 AM
Ryuu said that to you? Or to Oars? I'm getting so much conflicting information now Ryuu says he's on my side, just faking with Oars. You're saying the same. Have you two communicated with each other in private? Also, if you don't mind me asking, who did you steal from?
- Bellamy
- Sep 28 2017, 12:39 AM
Oars said that.
I tried opening a PM room effective today, but I guess Bege didn't see that. So no, I haven't spoken to Ryuu in private since about Cycle 4.
I stole from Brulee, Mansherry and Octopako. I was going to do something to everyone, but I put both guards on you. I'm not directly affecting Oars in this challenge.
I'm sorry that you're getting competing information. Oars suggested going after you, but he didn't say that he was going to, if that was the discrepancy.
- Gekko Moriah
- Sep 28 2017, 12:57 AM
Ok, well, thanks for everything, I appreciate the effort and I'll remember it. As planned, I stole 1000 from you and no one else.
This has been a really tense PoV for me, so bear with me lol. I think the conflicting info comes from multiple people (eg. you and Ryuu) playing both sides and then having to keep up the act even in front of each other.
- Bellamy
- Sep 28 2017, 02:23 AM
Well, we got that done! I'll veto you. Oars ain't gonna be happy.
It probably won't happen until a bit into the day, though, so I can talk with Ryuu about it. He'll have to be your eyes and ears on the other side.
- Bellamy
- Sep 29 2017, 01:43 AM
I'd like to preface this with a sorry.
I've thought it over, and the best way to get rid of Oars is to use the veto on Octopako. This means that you may be evicted, depending on the counter-nominee, but Oars really needs to get gone. If you do last the cycle (I'll try to make that happen), I hope you'll be on my side again to vote out Oars next cycle, if everything goes to plan.
- Gekko Moriah
- Sep 29 2017, 01:58 AM
Wait wait, explain this first, how exactly does saving Octopako make Oars more likely to be evicted?
- Bellamy
- Sep 29 2017, 02:09 AM
I need Oars's trust, mate. If Oars trusts me, I have a fallback if my plans go sour. He'll still trust me.
I can get a few more votes against Oars if you're gone. If you survive, I still at least made it look like I was trying for that, so those votes still happen.
- Gekko Moriah
- Sep 29 2017, 02:10 AM
You could have not saved anyone then
- Gekko Moriah
- Sep 29 2017, 02:13 AM
What more votes can you get if I'm gone? Ryuu and Mansherry were already planning to take him out and were ready to vote him put given the opportunity. He would have been gone last round had he not won PoV.
- Bellamy
- Sep 29 2017, 02:23 AM
That was for gaining Octopako's trust somewhat. Less likely to be on the block if she becomes HoH. She hasn't really spoken to anybody extensively besides Mansherry from what I can tell, so I was just as likely to be on the block as anybody else.
- Gekko Moriah
- Sep 29 2017, 02:23 AM
I just don't understand how you think taking out the one player who openly went against Oars... Is the best way to go against Oars. Everyone else is already against him, save Brule, they're just doing what you're doing and trying to appear friendly as a fallback. But if everyone did that, including me, he'd never be put on the block at all. That was the basis of mine and Ryuus teamwork. I'd attac, he protec. Had I survived, I can nominate him again next turn, and this time everyone makes sure he doesn't win PoV and boom, he's easily out. Anyway, one last thing, it's a bit dirty and I don't know if it'll help, but I still stand a chance at survival if I'm against Mansherry. Ryuu, just forget, 2 votes sends it to the HoH, and Mansherry and Brule would definitely vote again me. But if somehow he could be convinced that Mansheery was secretly scheming against him (which she WAS) but not learn the same about Ryuu, he might prefer her as the second nominee. Do you think this is helpful at all: - Gekko Moriah
- Sep 27 2017, 08:08 PM
So how does this get rigged while not implicating involvement on your part?
- Mansherry
- Sep 27 2017, 11:19 PM
it was requested that i steal from you, so i'm doing just that. so guard against me at least.
- Gekko Moriah
- Sep 27 2017, 11:32 PM
Did he tell you anything else? If the guarding isn't coordinated, then Guard against me and Octopako
- Mansherry
- Sep 28 2017, 12:01 AM
no i didn't get anything else. i currently have guards up for oars and octopako, should i switch the oars one to you?
- Gekko Moriah
- Sep 28 2017, 12:02 AM
Nah, Im not robbing you, no worries.
- Bellamy
- Sep 29 2017, 02:31 AM
That sounds like it might work. Honestly Oars is kind of worried right now. He doesn't have a replacement nominee lined up.
Like I said, it was about having a fallback if things went wrong.
- Gekko Moriah
- Sep 29 2017, 02:38 AM
Yeah but even if Mansherry is put on, two votes sends us to Oars to decide. So even if by some miracle Ryuu and Ocyopako both favor me over Mansherry, it still would need your vote to evict her. And you aren't willing to do that, right?
- Bellamy
- Sep 29 2017, 02:43 AM
I am cool to go along with it. I really don't have any strong ties to anybody. I just want Oars gone, and to save my own Culo.

Then why didn't you just leave Ocyopako?! We could have evicted her and prevented this whole mess!
- Gekko Moriah

BTW, That was Mansherrys doing, she bsed to Oars that Octopako was my main ally, rather than Ryuu, in an effort to save Ryuu.
I probably wouldn't brushed it off, but he has information from the others that I've only shared in private. He has our formation with Mansherry in those PMs.
Moriah's dangerous... but he's been pretty much cast aside by these guys. We won't be dealing a blow if he's gone, we'll just be strengthening them.
He's pretty much given away his game giving out these messages. It's got dirt on him majorly, but also on the others.
As a result... I think we need to evict Ryuunosuke, or the next cycle(s) are going to be so much harder. Let me know what you think...
